It is about time. This kid has a bright future and I really hope it's with the Hawks.

He's skating with the 3rd line with Shaw and Bickell. Hossa and Sharp in practice not wearing no contact jersey. So I think that's a great sign. Stalberg out.

Hossa was put in IR to open a spot up. He can be taken off Monday, let's say, and then Morin or Hayes can go back down at that point.

Probably sticking with Saad/Toews/Frolik. But that second line has been pretty awful.

Why do you have Stalberg on 1st line?

Outside of 1 shift Frolik remained on that line vs Ducks

Frolik has been playing solid on 1st

Hayes is still up. I would assume Mayers. He had a terrible game last night. Plus it doesn't help him that Bollig and Carcillo are playing pretty well as of late.

Saad Toews Frolik
Hayes Bolland Kane
Morin Shaw Bickell
Bollig Kruger Carcillo

Stalberg might not play

Well if he's not on the 3rd, like GGG said, he's either in the top 6 or on the 4th. I can't see him on the 4th, so I put him on the 1st because you're not gonna have him on the 2nd with Hayes/Bolland.

Just putting the pieces together...

With Stalberg out, it might look like

Saad-Toews-Morin/Frolik
Hayes-Bolland-Kane
Morin/Frolik-Shaw-Bickell
Enforcer-Kruger-Enforcer

Hayes is a RW so play him there. Morin is a LW so play him there.

20/19/39
27/36/88
29/65/25
52/16/67

Alternatively, any one of 39/25/67 can move up or down, but how about when we bring these guys up we actually play them in the positions they are used to.

If Stalberg is out then move Frolik up and cobble together something for the 4th line.

Rethought lines:
20-19-67: It's what Q has been going with, so realistically that's what will happen. Hayes isn't going to be on the first line. He's a top six filler, not a first line player.
27-36-88: This makes sense, as Morin's a left wing and arguably much more capable at being in the top six than Hayes.
29-65-39: Hayes is a natural RW so just slot him into the third line.
Grinder-16-Grinder: No change.

Stalberg took a puck to the head. I assume he's out for a game or two.

Good for Morin on the call up, he deserves it.

Oh pulease. He runs around like a chicken with his head cut off and accomplishes nothing. Even Toews struggles trying to play with him.

lollll are you sure you aren't confused with Viktor Stalberg, Dave Bolland, or Shea McClellin?

Frolik has looked all star caliber and Saad is the one bringing the line down clearly. Toews/Frolik are practically made for each other as 1st liners.
