Not whining about a 1st at all, but the 'prospects' we have been targeting are very suspect. The vast majority of the hockey world wouldn't see them as anything special and yet Feaster acts like he won the lottery when talking about them.

Hey, it's not Feaster saying that, it's his scouts.

The lawyer-speak just never ends with this guy.

Not in the slightest.

The Young Gun days were all about getting "something for today and something for tomorrow"

We are getting nothing for today.

Agostino is good. In fact I would go as far as saying great. You'll see.

Also, I love Gaudreau... yes he was your pick, but what a sexy one. I expect big things from that kid. So shifty and the puck seems to stick to his blade.

Feaster admitting he wasn't intellectually honest. It kind of feels like he's being set up to be the fall guy here.

That's how it feels to me, as an outside observer.

I wonder who else he trades before Wednesday.

I would say 1 of Tangs/Cammy, Kipper, Sarich, Stempniak.

Honestly, these trades are bad, even by Feaster's meager standards as the Lightning GM. Wouldn't be surprised if it was Edwards or King pulling all the strings here. Or if it's Weisbrod, well, maybe he's a lot dumber than previously thought.

He just said on the radio that they are not done yet.

My guess is Kipper is moved.

I doubt we can blame Weisbrod on this one. Im pretty sure he values Cole/Rattie more than these guys. Feaster probably never even got them in the negotiations.

After the game? Kipper looks like he can't wait to leave this team

NMC, list of 8 teams, only like 2 or 3 can fit his ridiculous contract, think you can do better?

We have 3 1sts, let's take the positives and move forward. This season was lost long ago.

I think this whole Feaster is crap is nothing more than HF groupthink at its best/worst...

With Iginla, he respected the franchise player's wishes, rightfully so IMO... Iginla put in too many loyal years + production + it was the team's decision to move him, to ignore his wishes.

With Bouwmeester, his cap hit is too much for what he brings currently so getting a first is not THAT bad...

In this years draft you should get a few quality players which will improve your team immensely in the next 3-5 years.

Well Mark Cundari is two years younger than Ian Cole and has to this point in his career enjoyed more success at the AHL level. I think we have a good young piece here from all accounts.

What is that supposed to mean?

I remember when Conroy was hired as his assistant, Feaster said he needed someone like Conroy because he's not a hockey guy, he's a business guy. God that's looking more and more obvious.

Feaster is a genius. He trades a player just before the game and drops his team's morale so they would lose. He then goes to the bookies and bets tons and makes tons.

everyone's crying in their beer. Common, even Ed Belfour had some bad games. Think how distracted these guys must be, I know it's their job not to be but still. It's not all doom and gloom. Feaster wants to stockpile picks. I will agree he is not a good GM, but Notice no other teams are plucking top prospects off these teams.
