Sniper to San Jose

To San Jose:
Mike Camalleri

To Calgary:
1st Round Pick
Freddie Hamilton

Helps flames rebuild, and sharks get their scorer that they are reportedly after right now.

Let's not confuse Eklund's reports with the Sharks actual needs. Sharks are not in buy mode right now. GM has already come out and stated he's not interested in any rentals.

Realize Feaster is the GM in Calgary and he doesn't like to even get good players for the likes of Jarome Iginla. Why would San Jose give the top two prospects in the system for Camalleri? Unless one of Hall, Eberle, Tavares, Skinner, etc are coming neither of these guys are being traded.

Since when Is Camalleri considered a sniper, Never knew that Camalleri was a Goal scorer.

Yeah, I think he's technically a grinder/shutdown C. Sometimes a bit of a playmaker, sniper is certainly the last thing I think of when I think of Cammy. Sometimes I even think of a camel named larry.

True dat. Cammalleri is a backup goalie not a goal scorer.

Exactly he's more known as a grinder/shutdown type of player not a Goal scorer.

Given our prospect pool, we are definitely not in a position to give away two of our best prospects for another Bill Guerin.

We can't afford Vanek under the cap without Buffalo swallowing half his salary, which would be a no-go from Buffalo's end.

They are our two best forward prospects, and the only real ones with top 6 potential.
