He wasn't. He was great at firing the puck square into a goalies bread basket.

As far as Roy goes, I'm not really interested in trading a D prospect on Connauton's level.

Sharp was brought in to be a bottom six player. The results weren't always there, but he was never painful to watch

Lets face it, Phoenix is a good fit for him.

Jeff Hamilton played better than Vrbata. Seriously, he sucked.

Monster pre-season 9 goals in 6 games.

He had a decent season with the Hawks before he was traded (Canes) then whent no where from there.

Before many posters left for other boards and 1 or 2 newly created ones.

Anyone still post on the official boards? There were a lot of good posters over there, but there was one in particular that really made it unbearable. This place is far better.

It's been years since I have. Used to post a lot... think I stopped right after the 07-08 season. This board took over that one for me.

I'm getting crap for my politics while I'm attempting to talk about the Hawks?

Seriously?

I'd like to think politics and hockey "could be different." Can I not have a hockey opinion without having a political opinion?

Possible? or do I have to be attacked continually just because I hold a counter idea.

I'd like to talk hockey....

Ha, remember him. But no, I won't mention the name, but I will say this particular poster was hellbent on knowing it all and that the Hawks should take Kyle Turris over Kane.

Well he picked Kopitar over Skille and he doesnt berate other posters so if any critics want to lay it on the line, next draft is coming up.

When we fire bowman ASAP. I hope we get Phil Espo as the GM. Granted the rangers sucked under his reign and he he has GMed since. Dude was not afraid to make a trade.

Given how many people who are actually paid to do it get it wrong, its really not fair to judge anyone based on missed draft picks.

Some of the unpaid "scouts" are full of themselves, though...
