Much appreciated. But if they don't listen to you, I'll get my army of Blues fans to back me up.

And while I'm in a good mood, Derek Stepan is unbelievable. IMHO you have your #1C. When there was a thread earlier this season wondering if he was even a #2C, I had to SMH. He's way too good for his physical talent, it's all mental and vision and smarts with him.

Yeah he's more of a cerebral player. I like that about him.

As a power forward myself in my day (which wasn't much beyond street puck ) I've usually always gone for the more physical specimens, but Stepan has grown on me.

I love cerebral players. The Stepans, Pavelskis, the Datsyuks, the Coutures. More fun for me to watch, and usually very underrated.

Man did I call that. Goal his first game away from here and never score another goal as a Shark. Bleh. Good for him though.

2 goals and an assist Clowe!?!? Why do you do this to me? I mean I'm glad to see you doing well, but you're making this transition period so much harder for me...

What? Now you're just being ridiculous bro. This is the same Clowe we were seeing for a while in San Jose, but he's not a player that deserves to get paid what he's going to get paid by Glen "I'm a ****ing idiot" Sather. Wilson wasn't gonna be able to re-sign him, so he got three draft picks for him.

He's playing against Douglas Murray and Marc-Andre Fleury. That's why he is producing like this.

Did you consider Wingels a top-six forward after his three point game? If the answer is no, then that means Clowe is the same great second liner with tons of intangibles. We'll miss him, but the trades were great.

I am not delusional. DW should've gotten a time machine, obtained these videos of Clowe scoring with the Rangers and he would've gotten more from the trade.

Just watch Clowe's goals for tonight. Man I miss him. I'm not that mad about the trade considering we were most likely going to loose him in the offseason. But damn he looks weird not wearing a Sharks sweater.

Played great overall, lots of hits and scoring chances. Looks like he really needed a change of scenery.

No, he just needed to get healthy. He was great for the Sharks after returning from his injury.

Fair enough, not going to pretend like I saw him play this season before he came to NYR. Just assumed it was that based on his no goals, but the injury thing makes a lot of sense.

My favorite Shark for many years now, got his jersey for Christmas a while ago and wear it to every single game. From beating the pulp out of Tootoo, to telling McLeod he would "****ing kill" him, to making the crybaby gesture to Iginla, to that sweet spin-around goal against Detroit in the playoffs, Clowe brought a little of everything. He brought skill, grit, a little bit of dirt, but most importantly, character. For better or for worse, he never ceased to entertain us. He wore his heart on his sleeve every night, and always played for the logo and not the name. A true warrior in every sense of the word. Ryane, I will miss you.

Yeah, so did every other Rangers fan despite claiming that they knew everything about Clowe.
