What about Pullianen, Grahn, Daniel Johansson and where the heck is Flavin Conne? Did Flavr Flavin skip town and out of the organization?

Pulliainen - Fin-2
Grahn - backup for the Pelicans (I believe)
Johansson - Swe-2
Conne - he is on Lugano's roster, but has not played yet (maybe injured?)

I think that was from 1 game, they penalize their players a little different than in N.A. so it could be from 1 instance that gave him the Pim's

One instace could give you 12 pim's? I'd end the season with over 500......

Valtteri Tenkanen apparently injured his back and will be out a few weeks. A guy on the Finnish board said that he has had back problems in the past. They like him, though I don't see him playing over here much like Tim Eriksson or Flavin.

I saw Tukonen now has 2 goals in 9 games for the Blues.

Karlsson is yet to register a point this season in the SEL.

Not suprising. He gets zero icetime during the regular season

Jens Karlsson got his chance today when P-J Axelsson was suspended. Jens played with Joel Lundqvist and Jari Tolsa on the 2nd line and registered a slashing penalty when Frölunda beat SSK with 2-0.

Good to hear that his coach has at least enough confidence to try him out in the 2nd line (even if only as a suspension replacement). Did he look OK? Out of place? Physical?

Tuuka our favorite short man is having a good start with 2g and 3a in 9 games. Daniel Johansson is having a great start as well with 1g and 6a in 12 games.

Henrik Juntunen got his 1st goal and point of the year. Tukunen has 2 goals ans 2 assist. Playing his way to be my 2nd favorite stiff next to Steckel is Karlsson with a whopping 2 pims in 11 games getting about 2-5 mins of playing time. If this guy was getting better he'd play more imo, his age can no longer be an excuse for him not getting ice time. It very well could be he is just not that good.

Espoo Blues (the team that Tukonen plays for) is having a slow start they replaced the coach and are trying to get things going. Anyways, Tukonen has been one of the blues best players.

Hannus and Tukanen each with their 3rd goal of the season. Karlsson and Lyubushin are the only Euro's not to have a point yet.

It's official, Karlsson is the last remaining European player to get a point. Lyubushin got his first goal of the season. Karlsson has quickly become my least favorite prospect in the system. Only George Parros and Jens are left to earn a single point. Blah blah blah.."he doesn't get any ice time", maybe because he is not very good? I don't think we can receive a 2nd round pick if we don't sign him because he plays in Europe? Too bad 1st picks that year imo. But at least Steckel has gotten 1 stinken lousy point.

The only intriguing thing about Karlsson is that when the playoffs roll around he becomes the go to guy. I'm in the camp that says he's not used properly, but I think he needs to get over to North America. He really can't see that he's hurting himself by being loyal to a team that treats him like dirt. Hopefully when his contract is up, so's his loyalty to Sweden.

I too think Karlsson is being used wrong, this would have been an awesome year for him to come over and play in Manchester. I read before that he wanted "1st round money" though, which will not happen.

I dont think he'll develop into a scorer, but that doesn't mean he cant be effective I could see a him playing with Avery and Kanko in the future providing energy, hits and stopping opposing top lines.

Tukonen played 3 games in U20 team this weekend. Tukonen didn't record any points, but he was chosen best player of Team Finland in two games.

In SM-liiga he has 3 goals, 2 assists and -1 in 19 games. No penalty minutes so far.
