White will be back this weekend so we won't see Blunden after that anyways.

Depth wins cup.

Johnson fills no need on the Habs, on a good team he is a #3 or 4 at best. You add to a strength and create a hole, thatw ould be a terrible trade for MB.

Jack Johnson is terrible. I wouldn't give up Gionta for him, let alone Eller.

Jokinen is a good player who can player center or wing. He's solid defensively. Great depth guy. Last time he was in the playoffs, he was awesome.

He's not an all-star, but he's a good player to get for nothing.

He's a smallish one dimensional offensive player who is not putting up points. Pittsburgh was desperate after Crosby's injury.

If he's so good why was he on waivers and why is Carolina giving him away?

Dave Stubbs @Dave_Stubbs
Not good news for #Habs Armstrong, Therrien saying he hopes injured winger will be ready for the playoffs. Right knee injured Monday

Hope he's replaced...

This

Jokinen is soft as a marshmallow. Sure he can put some points but he's pretty much useless other than that. He's not the guy who is going to put the Pens over the top. They already were anyway

Will there be an 11th hour move by MB? I'd say 35% chance he adds a depth winger for a late pick.

One dimensional offensive player.

He's an above average defensive player and good on the PK as well.

He's also incredible in the circle. 59.4% this year. 55.1% last year.

Speaking of FLA, they keep getting calls on Dmitry Kulikov... Detroit, Philly, MTL, Chicago among teams to have inquired. Nothing imminent.

You'd have to think he'd be pretty expensive.

Per curiosity, who replaces Armstrong on the PK unit? As long as we don't put Blunden or White there, it's fine with me. Our PK unit is bad enough as it is, let's not add a guy with 0 hockey IQ on the ice to make it even worst.

That's where I really wouldn't mind a guy like Chimera, if he's even available. His quickness might even give us some more odd man rushes on the PK.

It would be nice if we could get a player like Boll to replace Armstrong.

Has David Pagnotta ever gotten anything right? Seriously. TFP sucks.

Carolina is 4 points out of the playoffs with 3 games in hand on Winnipeg, they currently have Riley Nash as their 3rd line centre and they still wanted to get rid of Jokinen for basically nothing. He's been horrible this year.
