I think not trading Bishop would be a mistake. His value won't be higher in the offseason. We can ride Lehner until Andy is ready to come back, then we still have the best tandem in the league.

Bob McKenzie believes Bishop will be easier to move than Luongo today, and a bunch of teams picking at him.

With Phoenix, TB and Edmonton supposedly interesting in Bishop, there are some interesting pieces that are expendable for those teams.

For Phoenix, I wonder whether they would swap Rundblad for Bishop. They have a glut of young d-men and need a young goalie to build around. For the Sens, we could use a puck moving RH d-man with offensive upside in the years ahead, to compliment the existing core, and offset the loss of Gonchar going forward. Having Karlsson, Rundblad and Ceci, along with Cowen, Methot, Gryba, Boro and some of our other more defensive prospects, seems to make sense. Boedker would also be interesting for us now AND in the future, but not sure the Coyotes would part with him for Bishop.

For Tampa, I'm not sure I see a fit, other than a 2nd rounder (which would be high), and perhaps a piece to add to our current team (Pouliot). Would love to get Connolly, but probably not gonna get him for Bishop.

For the Oil, MPS would obviously seem to be someone they might move, and Anton Lander would be of interest. But again, seems like a 2nd rounder is more likely.

Getting an early 2nd in this draft would be quite good, as there is real quality in the top 40.

*EDIT*
Everything works in Indonesia, because no one who owns any proprietary right to anything seem to give a rat's arse about Indonesia.

McKenzie suggesting Bishop may be one of the most attractive goalie options on market. 2nd+prospect or a 1st rd pick. EDM/TB/PHX interested.
Some interesting suitors and potential deals that could be made with those teams.

Brent Wallace: Sens want to move Bishop but aren't in a rush, can wait until after season.

If we're talking with Phoenix I hope Murray asks about Gormley. Hell, I'd add another asset with Bishop to get Gormley.

I really hope they do not get him, despite everything with Luongo, he is a top notch goaltender...hoping they go for Kippper....unless somehow Luongo costs a bunch.

Murray will probably just make a minor league trade to help out Bingo or something. Don't really have my hopes up for anything major. There just haven't been the rumors.

If Coyotes move, a Yandle deal wouldn't be an offseason possibility. He'd be the face of the new franchise..

Can't stream TSN or Sportsnet from work, nor stream either of those from my iphone...

Fan590 vs Team1200 are far worse that TSN or Sportsnet.

What are you guys doing who are trying to access from work?

OEL, Doan, and Yandle would be the main players. Don't think the new team would want to give up those assets so early on when there is marketing to be had.
