Ziggler hopes Rock and Cena are booed; encounters with The Rock

- Dolph Ziggler spoke with Comcast's XFINITY blog and says he hopes the fans at WrestleMania 29 boo both John Cena and The Rock out of the building. He added:

"I donít want the cheers and the boos. I hope itís 90% boos letting them know that this ďOnce in a LifetimeĒ match is happening again and that I or someone else should be the main event. But, thatís the great thing about the WWE Universe. They get to voice their opinions, they get to show their signs. And whether they like something or hate it, youíre going to hear about it. Iím excited to hear it."

Sounds like he's mad that he's not being put in the spotlight/main events.

I would be too. This year's Wrestlemania is a carbon copy of last year's.

Ehh shut up Ziggler...

Fans get their voices heard? I doubt it. Almost every chant you hear are boxed/piped in

it should be booed in my personal opinion. Repeats on WM is ridiculous.

You're right. Austin and Rock were horrible.

I believe, as I'm sure that you're aware, that people are of the opinion that this will suck because of the expectation on who will win.

The WWE are once again shoving the "Overcome The Odds" John Cena down our throats, and rightly so we're not buying it.

If you look at the prediction thread, I have The Rock winning. I think he wins then Cena goes insane.

If Cena wins, it's merely for the reasons you've just talked about.

Once the Wrestlemania buyrate numbers get released, I think you will see that we are buying it.

That's what sucks. I am okay with Rock vs. Cena happening again but the build this year has been poor, as has the build been for most of the card. But WWE will justify it with the buyrate numbers pretty much guaranteed to be high, even though it's going to be due the star power (Rock, Brock, Cena) and the Wrestlemania name (which is a draw itself), rather than how it's being built.

rematches are fine, but the narrative to this feud is dumb.
yeah cena suffered soooooooo much, he was still main eventing every week, and positioned above the champion the entire year

He was 100% in character there. It fits it perfectly.

Hope he cashes in this Sunday. Think it happens?

I don't recall them using the flashy title, "Once In A Lifetime."

I'm more than sure he will... In fact, I won't be surprised if by the night is over, Ziggler/Langston/AJ all walk away with belts.

Perhaps something like:

Opening match is Tag-Team... the ref's turned away, AJ interferes with Bryan.. Kaitlyn runs down and attacks AJ.. Kane tries to help break it up causing him to be distracted from the match. Bryan, who sees Kane holding AJ, get's hit with either the Zig-Zag or the Big Ending.. causing new tag champs.

Later on backstage we see Vince talking with Trish.. He congratulates her on the induction and thanks her for "everything she's done" (woooah, maybe Kevin Kelly was right?).. AJ comes in demanding that Kaitlyn's actions be punished. Trish says "In my day, when I had a problem with another Diva, I settled it in the ring".. causing Vince to announce a match for the Diva's title.. of which AJ wins.

Then after the WHC match, of which Del Rio wins.. Swagger attacks Del Rio. Ziggler comes down to the ring and cashes in, to which he wins. Since Ziggler is American, Swagger has no problem with him winning..

Oh now you're talking to me? *pie in face*

I do think he cashes it in, absolutely. Or else, he's not living up to his 'show off' nickname

I'm hoping Cena does what he says he'll do in his promos and that's going to any length to win. He says he has to win, then he must prove that he has to win no matter what.

If you remember the Piper-Hart match at Wrestlemania VIII, the referee got knocked down and Piper had a moment where he was holding the ring bell and went back and forth with himself whether or not to waffle Bret over the head with it.

I would like to see that in this match. Referee gets knocked down and Cena has an opportunity to decide whether or not to clobber Rock with a chair or something and instead of doing the "Cena" thing, whack him. A lot. Make it obvious he'll do anything (maybe after exchanging a finisher), referee comes to and to put the cherry on top, submit him. Right in the middle of the ring.

That is a heel turn. I want Cena to stick to his words.

judging by the Hall of Fame ceremony, Cena will get booed out the building, they even booed Cena after showing one of his "Make a Wish" videos
