Russo said Coyle may do some centering starting tonight. Hopefully that means Pominville is going to be here tonight but that seems fast.

Over/Under 30 minutes for Brodziak tonight sounds about right.

You'd think he'd be able to make it. He's gaining time goin west, and a 9:30 start

#hope

Otherwise, could be pretty ugly tonight lol

So our 2nd line is Heater - Brodz - Seto?

I feel like I've been punched in the groin. That is TERRIBLE.

I'd rather have Coyle try to center Seto and Butch.

Well, if Pominville got on a plane before 2pm central time, that means he's got 7 hours to cross the country. I like those odds. But it really depends on when he gets off the ground and if the flight is non-stop or not. Is buffalo at home right now, or where are they? I can't imagine a non-stop commercial flight from Buffalo to San Jose, they'd have to charter one from there.

No way Pominville gets there tonight. I googled flight times and they range from 8-9.5 hours.

Oh well. Los Angeles tomorrow night?

Pommer isn't going to play tonight, I don't see any way that will happen, but no reason why we shouldn't expect to see him for tomorrows game.

Really depends on when his ass got on the plane. If it's far enough before 2pm central, that gives him at least a shot to be on the bench before the end of the 1st.

Wild will get trounced tonight. Too much mental energy focused on the trades.

SHarks win 5-1

i think its two roads, they could also play really well with all the motivation of a new player and the commitment the team is showing.

I'm thinking the same thing. Just like when the Blues got pumped with the Bouwmeester (sp?) trade mid-game.

The Sharks have been shook up with trades lately too.

I could go either way on this. It really depends on if our 2nd line is potent or impotent.

Oh, there's a game tonight?

Not a good feeling about this one. I think we get dominated, 5-0. We're due to get shutout.

After the trades, SJ is going to win this one with us being down a forward (meaning Prosser is playing F tonight) and Backstrom has to be starting if Kemp is on his way to SJ. 4-2 SJ

Prosser might not be that bad as a forward though.

I'm not talking about that.

Just mentioning that Prosser as a forward might not be the end of the world. He can get gritty, has a decent shot and isn't all that bad of a skater.

Going to be an ugly game. 4-0 Sharks. Lines are messed, trades are somewhat distracting but mostly the lines. People are playing out of position like last year we all know doesn't end well. Prosser playing WING on 4th line?? He doesn't even belong on the ice on D let alone out of position on a forward line.

EDIT: Also they are on fire and we laid an absolute egg last game. San Jose is a really tough place to play on top of it all. Especially for us.
