Yzerman just refusing to actually get a legit goalie and keep on trading for unproven backups

Are the Lightning stupid?

They pick up a young goalie in Lindback with upside.

That fails predictably, so they go out and grab another one in Ben Bishop? He is a bit better goaltender but come on.

They also have Vasilevsky waiting. I just don't understand it.

Yzerman is one of my favorite players ever.

He is an idiot of a GM. Way to not address your issue whatsoever.

Bishop played behind a great defensive system in Ottawa.

Yzerman really is a tool.

Yzerman is not a good general manager.

Tall backup goalies seem to be Yzerman's forte. Wonder if he comes calling on Devan Dubnyk when he hits free agency.

The market in the summer for Luongo will only get smaller. I don't know how we're really going to trade him or what for. It won't be much.

Apparently the Wild are close to trading one of their young goaltenders (hockeybuzz radio)

Well russo is claiming wild going hard after pominville, great, not sure how they fit him in, and people worry about our cap situation.

Is it obvious yet that Tampa has no interest in acquiring Luongo?

Yzerman has said all along that he thinks he can save money in the position.

Oh man. I agree with Cox on something. Bishop and Lindback are both questionably #1 goalies. Key word questionable.

Does this really change anything? We knew Yzerman was too dumb to see the opportunity staring him right in the face. He's going to try 10 more backup goalies that won't succeed, then he'll get fired.

Nice pickup by Yzerman depending on the return. Bishop makes Luongo look like a midget.

The goaltending market is gone. Accept the reality and move Luongo.
