As far as I am concerned, I think the biggest addition will be Collberg and Kristo to Hamilton. Wouldnt be surprised to see them called up sometime.

Funny that Bieber is your avatar, you whine a lot. Picks end up being guys like MaxPac, Subban, Gallagher, Beaulieu, Tinordi, Kristo... You seem to underestimate the value of good prospects.

I don't think Collberg can be called up.

I think being so cautious with picks/younger players speaks to the fact that Bergevin isn't sure exactly how good this team is. Not the time to go all in if you're concerned that the team is overachieving to a certain degree.

(Or that he's a lot more confident in it's current make-up than most of us are.)

It's hard to not be at least a little disappointed with being in 2nd and still having to use players like Blunden to fill in.

Just relax and enjoy the rest of the season and the playoffs
Or we can move up in the draft if we need.

Our best deadline moves are getting Prust, Bourque and Diaz back before the playoffs plus Ryder a month ago.

I feel sorry for Luongo to be honest. Yeah, he makes a lot of money, but he seems like a genuinely good guy and hates the situation he's in right now.

Can Luongo request a buyout? Or something? Void his contract?

This is the way I see it. He hasn't been GM for more than a year and he only watch the team for 2 and half month. Only on HFBoards could one make an argument that a trade was necessary and giving up whatever the other team wanted was a great idea.

Blunden is a 4th liner playing on the 4th line. I don't have a problem with that.

Gillis has really blown this whole Luongo thing...brutal asset management, and Luongo is trying to stay classy, handling it for over a YEAR now...
