I legit was just going to say he could be the NHL's new super villain, since Boucher was fired.

Horrible day for us. We didn't get any help for our playoff run. Odds are we will now be destroyed in the 1st round. I didn't want us to trade futures for rentals, but we definetely had assets that were expendable.

Nonis = Failure = should be fired

Bruins are a team that pick the slack when the going gets tough. You have to recall they were on a phenomenal run when the beginning of the season started. The exhaustion is possibly taking a toll. Not to mention they have the coach and system that's prolly etched into their muscle so even if they are walking zombies their muscle will still dance to the tune of Julien's voice.

Pittsburgh I don't worry about because Geno takes his game up no matter what happens, especially when Crosby goes down, guy's just a legend in the making along with crosby really. Not to mention the character guys.

Habs can be equal to us maybe but they still have something that we lack, experience and a goalie that can rob games in his sleep in price. Although Reimer is great for us he is no Carey Price. They have really gelled after we whooped their ass in that 6-0 victory. I honestly don't know how Therrien is running that group since well...I never trusted in him. Still don't.

I am optimistic about the boys but at the same time I'm cautious. I know we aren't a complete product we still have to get more experience under our legs before we can put ourselves with those guys.

I would at most give each of them 3.5 for 3yrs, thats the absolute max.

I sorta think so... Nonis delays his presser... caps have a mystery trade.

Could we have gotten Ribs? Backstrom? Green?

When Duthie asked Dreger if the Leafs were done, he didn't really answer and sorta swiped the camera to go back to Duthie

So true.

The poster asking about Noni's addressing the media, no he hasn't I think he's still waiting for a trade or somehting of the o'byrne to be finalized.

I'm happy.
I dont think we are ready to be moving important futures for rentals. But O'Byrne definitely fills and didn't cost us much. He also had chemistry with Liles when they played together.

I wanted to see something happen too, but why would we be destroyed in the first round? The Leafs have the 4th most points in the East right now.
