Game 38: Preds vs Blue Jackets 7pm at "the Stone" The Post Trade Deadline Edition

Barebones GDT

The post trade deadline game should be interesting for alot of teams today, and definitely will be interesting for these 2 teams.
With the Preds adjusting lineups with Fisher probably back, Mueller called back up, and Erat no longer with the team it should be interesting how we look tonight!

CBJ also has a different look to them with the addition of Gaborik, and new lines with the players they shipped out for him.

Both teams need a win in their chase to make the playoffs, so it will be a very good game to watch.

I hope our boys can put a good game together and pull out the W!!

Go PREDS!!!!

Just win, I don't really care how, we need 2 points and we don't want the BJ's to get any.

Seems the perfect post-trade-deadline game for us. Only time we don't make POs the BJs do. They make deals to be competitive for this year, we make them for future. So, we get the chance to show them they're still our annoying baby brother, and always will be, even when they make deals to compete when we're dealing to rebuild; So - icing on the cake time - Preds take 2 much needed points from the BJs, which hopefully will be the 2 that - if they don't put us in, at least keep the BJs out! :-)

Love to see the kids step up. Bork! and Beck with some goals. Like to see Leggy keep hot as well.

I think we're going to lose this one barring some unbelievable play from Beck / Leggy / Hornqvist with Pekka shutting the barn door all night.

Just win please; I want Saturday's game against the Hawks to remain meaningful.

Fisher is a gametime decision.

So conflicted. I want the playoffs and I want a top 5 draft pick, I'd be happy either way at this point.

Other than injuries/scratches... this is the first time in 11 years that Martin Erat won't be on the Predators roster. It will be strange for me, I really hope that Forsberg is ready soon and makes us very happy that this trade happened.

First time in 4 years that I'm going to experience Marian Gaborik on the other side, and I am NOT looking forward to it

On the brightside, I can now have a Derick Brassard avatar

Or do we run 7 d-men if Fisher can't go?

Because technically it's not our 1st line. The kids are playing our 1st line, imo.

Getting some really good chances just can't bury them. Forecheck is solid.
