Yes, you were, and that I don't care about. Rub my nose in it (though I think it is false at worse and premature at best). It was the condescending way you did it. I have no use for that. I'm not a child.

I still think I am right about how they handled this/are handling it. If they were positive they wanted to get him to the minors for some portion this year teh best time to do it was at the start. I am sure if they send him down and then lose 5 of 6 everyone will be calm and reasonable.
Again, that's simply a projection on your part, with no intent to be condescending on my part. Seriously. Besides, I'm a far bigger richard cranium, and if I was going to break your balls, it would be much more heavy handed. At least give me some credit, FFs...

You are either lying to backtrack, or you have no idea how smug that post was.

Not discussing it further. You want to talk baseball or anything else with me, including how stupid I may or may not be, fine, just remember I don't have any desire to be spoken to like a child.

You're seriously killing me here, but okay. In terms of the discussion about whether it's better to have sent him down and then bring him up, or let him start the season up like they did, the reality is that it was probably smarter if they had sent him down. Unfortunately, this team is all about PR and they wanted to use him as a poster boy for fans to get excited. They put his development behind their short term public relations interests. Not shocking at all. In fact, it's pretty predictable.

I hear you on that, my only gripe was the part about them not being world class athletes because in my opinion that's absurd. There is plenty to poke fun at in this game though. I love both baseball and hockey, both sports seem to go along with their time of the year perfectly.

#RedSox officials say that the team's Fenway Park sellout streak will almost certainly end on Wednesday.

The official said this the second week in August last year, right?

The Inner Harbor is really nice. Touristy, but nice. Whatever you do, be very careful of where you're at. A couple of blocks out from the field, and it's not such a safe place for visitors.

Correct.

I went down a few years ago for a weekend series, there was like 15 of us. We drank our way across the Inner Harbor area, continued down the street we were on a bit too far and ended up on a corner with hookers and bums.

Super fun city, though. Just make sure you know where you are.

Cool, I'm staying on the water on the inner harbor. It's a family trip down there so touristy is fine.

No. Hard Rock is on the water near the Aquarium.

Power plant live isn't far though.

The aquarium is superb if your kids like that sort of thing.

I don't have any kids myself, it's my mother and I taking my little cousins down there (well not so little, 21 and 17 and I'm 25 myself and couldn't fathom having a kid yet, I can barely take of myself ). My uncle, their father passed away so we're doing a short trip down there to just get away for a couple days and give them a good time after what's been a tough time for them especially. But the aquarium does generally apply to all ages. Also is it a safe walk from inner Harbor to Oriole Park, I know it's estimated as a 15 minute walk.
