Farrell projects so much more confidence and command than Bobby V, makes you feel a hell of a lot better about the team, not to mention the (probably) improved quality of players.

Agreed.

The team looks and presents itself like a team now. I'm not worried one bit. Its a good group to go forward with.

Water always finds it's level. The team isn't as good as the start they got off to, and they're likely not as bad as they've looked the last couple of games. It's a long season. Just enjoy the ride.

They lost two games in a row, not the end of the world. They will probably have a couple losing streaks much longer than this. Everything will work itself out.

Lost 2 in a row and they should've won the 2nd, and could've win last night. Not the end if the world.

Not according to channels 4,5,7, fox, nesn, comcast , eei ,98.5

The fact this thread has added impossible dream season to it is as

One of the highest payrolls in baseball and yet we are underdogs

This team will suck just like the one from last year and Lester, papi, the fraud second baseman will be back to their norman selfs.

All the tv commercials begging fans to believe in them is as embarrassing as anything we have seen since the Bruins pathetic plea 3-4- years ago.

Good for them (red sox) they will try hard this year.

your problem is that you listen to and read the hype machine.

if you have a problem with the hype machine, take it up with the hype machine. i honestly couldn't tell you who the espn "experts" picked nor who they're passing off as experts anymore. their coverage is a joke.

Never understood the slogan "The Impossible Dream" since the team lost the freaking world series. Do they mean it was a dream to get to the WS and then lose it, because that seems counter intuitive, IMO. I'm pretty sure I'd want no part in celebrating losing, even if getting to the big dance was a surprise.

What ? They stink, and they still have the same jerks that have been part of the problem. Where did I say I believe the hype ?

I dont think I have turn to espn since the NHL left.
