Makes sense considering it's been awhile he didn't fight.

Still, that sucks.

Plenty of guys in Houston capable of playing a 4th line shift.

Yeo said center Zenon Konopka, who was wearing a cast on what is believed to be a broken foot, would not be out an extended period. "I don't think it will be a long time," Yeo said. Konopka did not fly with the team to Calgary, but Yeo said there was a chance Konopka could join them on the road trip should he heal sufficiently.

I think it's impressive that Zenon has been playing with a broken foot and we aren't even in the playoffs. yet.

Conspiracy Theorist:

Is this a complete break or just something hairline style that he "could" still play on, but allowed for an emergency callup of Zucker??

The guy is tough as nails. Honestly, I'm not too surprised, just glad to have him here when he's healthy.

After hearing Yeo talk about Brodziak in his postgame presser, I highly doubt Brodziak will be moved down to the fourth line.

Hey everyone, Sabres fan in peace here. Just wondering what the latest is on Ryan Suters injury status. I am in the final of my fantasy hockey league this coming week and have a chance to win $150 and was going to drop him if he is not going to play at all this week. Any updated information in regards to his injury or possibly play time this week? If he isn't playing the next few games and "might" play at end of week I will drop. Thanks Everyone!

How is Pommers doing for you guys? Do you have a sign in the 300 level with "Welcome to Pomminville" Goal count? If you don't, someone should do it, it was awesome here. He and Vanek were my favorite Sabres since 04. Hope he is playing well for you guys! =)

Suter's status for last night was not clear until the opening faceoff when he was in the lineup, then went on to play over 30 minutes. He is still banged up, but with the Wild's playoff hopes on the line, I would bet he will play every night. The only way he doesn't play, is if he can't walk.

BTW, I do like that "Welcome to Pominville" banner. But I believe there is a no banner policy at the X, so that tradition won't be able to move with him to Minny.

What is up with the no banner policy? Great way to highlight our favorite players and take pot shots at opposing ones.

Not sure. I think its something they have always had. I've never noticed a banner in the 13 years there.

Just means Mitchell stays at center is all... not really a concern IMO. No fighting in the post-season usually anyway.
