I hope Claude keeps that for the game. Seguin has learned from the best defensive center in the game. While he can never replace what Bergeron does on that side of the ice, he's proven to be defensively reliable. And, ideally, that line would keep the opposition hemmed in anyway.

I'm thinking they will each have two goals heading into the third period, at which time the score will be 9-0...and then Jagr will graciously defer to Seguin so that he can score the first hatty...Seguin then defers to Marchand, who gets the second hatty, and of course Segs and Marchy work to get Jagr his hatty...final score: Bruins 12, Devils 0 (I'm allowing that some other players might score as well...probably on the powerplay, assisted by Jagr, of course.

i disagree.

Brodeur can pull a rabbit out of his hat once and awhile. But since he barfed in the carolina series i think he's been a shell of himself since (even before).

If Brodeur stands on his head its because we made another goalie look like Thomas out there

lol if Jagr gets a hat trick, he'll be top 10 in goal scoring this season. He is currently tied for the 21st spot with 14 goals. I have a feeling he will be assisting on more goals, he always like to pass first but since Dallas had zero finishers he stepped up and started to score more towards the end of the season.

And the Devils rarely give up many great scoring chances. Have to earn the puck in all 3 zones against them.

Which line do you shut down if your NJ? I think one of the two lines LKH and MSJ has a big night. They played a more offense friendly game against Ottawa I hope we see that again tonight.

Well, of course he will rack up the assists...mostly because he will be the first player in NHL history to be credited with both the secondary and primary assists on his own goals.

edit: Goal scored by, Jagr (15), assisted by Jagr, and Jagr at 10:41 of the first period.

Daugavins kills penalties.

Krejci, Marchand, Paille, Campbell, Peverley, Daugavins. That's not enough PKers?

I actually think that is the situation we are currently dealing with: the ghost of Jay Pandolfo.

Did you guys really just spend 12 hours complaining about hypothetical lineup posted by fluto when fluto is rarely right about such lineups?

Man, I'm an angry person but even I think you guys need to relax.

I don't think bergy needs to worry about anything on this team. Cj will put bergy as a center over segiun unless segs tears it apart like we have never seen. Then Kelly or soup will be the odd center out.

I do like the offense of the segiun line though
