2013 HFNHL All Star Game Voting - PLEASE READ!

t is time for the General Managers of the HFNHL to complete their sworn duty to vote for the starters of the 2013 HFNHL All Star Game.

We're going to be doing the voting a little differently than we have in the past.

Below can be found the links for voting. Read the instructions carefully.

Remember the following Rules:

RULES:
1. You can't vote for anyone within your own organization.
2. Most votes per position wins.
3. $250,000 voted in at their position as listed above.
4. Voting is mandatory. Those GMs who don’t submit a vote will have their name submitted to the Admin team for disciplinary action. They will also void their team from receiving any cash earned through All-Star selections (and yes, even though we're doing the voting a new way, we can track who has voted).
5. The winning GMs will fill out the rest of the roster with their selections once the starters are named.

Votes are due by Tuesday, April 2 at 11:59 PM EST.

Let the voting BEGIN!

P.S. Feel free to use this thread in order to hype up your players for selection.

Johnathan Toews. Leads the league in scoring for the 3rd season in a row is among the best FO% and used in all situations on a bad team without him we'd be at the bottom of the standings

For your consideration in the East, there are two Devils that should be no brainers to start the all-star game.

F John Tavares is tied for the league lead in scoring, 15 points ahead of Stamkos.

D Shea Weber is third among Dmen scoring, second in the East in +/- (first among dmen), second in the East in hits (first among dmen), fifth in the league in minutes played (would be second if the Devils had the same number of games), third in takeaways

I would also like to pimp myself for GM...
my team finished 14th in the East last year and is now 2nd. I made a huge move to add John Tavares (gave up a ****ton for him) and he is one of the leading candidates for MVP. I also brought in Mark Streit who is 6th in dman scoring, re-signed PAP to a deal many wouldn't have given him and he is 7th in RW scoring (and better than a ppg in the NHL).

Ryan Miller- The wall that has kept the Senators in the hunt near the top in all goalie
categories.

Brian Campbell- 1st in minutes played, 2nd in take aways, amongst the leading Dmen
scorers, 75 shots blocked, 82 hits

Henrik Zetterberg- 5th in goals, 12th in assists, 4th in shots, 4th in lw points
4th in plus minus, 2nd in hat tricks

David Legwand- 2nd in goals, 9th in center points, 13th in shooting%

Potential Oilers All-Stars

Ales Hemsky -- 56 points in 44 games for the Edmonton mainstay, including being in the top 15 in goals, ahead of the likes of Malkin, H. Sedin, and Crosby. He's 3rd in the league in points per 20 minutes, which while obscure, is a mark of efficiency. He's managed to be a plus 6 on a team that gives up more than its fair share of goals, and has had one of his finest seasons ever. He needs your write-in vote.

TJ Oshie -- This guy is a beast. A point per game, a leader in hits, has almost as many minutes on the PK as on the power play, gets the puck on the net just as much as Hemsky does, and has stayed healthy while doing it. Oshie is the complete package, and has finally more than earned his trip to the All-Star game. He needs your write-in vote.

Brent Seabrook -- 32 points from the point puts him in the top 15, and he has been incredibly disciplined all year, showing he's hardly ever caught out of position on the rush back. Still manages to be incredibly physical as an offensive defenceman -- top 15 in the league in blocked shots, 3rd on the team in hits, eats up PK time, and is top 10 in the league in takeaways -- all while playing nearly 30 minutes a game.

Anze Kopitar - The two-way forward is currently 5th in HFNHL scoring while playing top minutes on ES, PP, and PK. He is 3rd in HFNHL assists and is a +17 on the Wild, the best on the team. The 2nd best +/- rating on the Wild team is a 9.

Cam Folwer - The two-way defenseman is tied for 7th in the HFNHL Defensemen scoring with 31 points and 10th in HFNHL with 1291 icetime played

Claude Noel - Last season, the Wild finished 14th in the Western Conference but started off the season horribly with a 5-13-1 record. Noel was then hired and finished with a 29-28-6 record. This season, he has the Wild on a hot start with 3rd in the Western Conference standings as well as an impressive 28-18-6 record.

ME! - Last season, the Wild finished 14th in the Western Conference but now we are 3rd in the Western Conference, and did so with key parts of our future still intact and ready to take off (Cam Folwer, Zach Bogosian, Jonas Brodin, Mikkel Boedker, David Perron, Mikael Granlund, Drew Shore). The team looks to be challenging for a playoff position this season but also look to be an even better team in the next few years with our young players ready to blossom.

For Columbus, our balanced scoring works against us in terms of standout individual performances, but Eric Staal and Kimmo Timonen stand out:

Forward: Eric Staal is second in the West in scoring among centres, and first among left wingers. He has carried the mail for the team during the league's longest streak without a regulation loss in history (24 games and counting). Only reason he's not scoring at the rate of Toews and Tavares is that he's being kept to just 20 minutes per game.

Defence: Kimmo Timonen is the anchor of the Jackets' improbable run, playing over 25 minutes a night and in every situation. He's second in blueline scoring in the West, and first in goals.

Coach: Mike Babcock has overseenid-season adjustments that have led to a league-record 25 consecutive games without a regulation loss. Every line is producing, and that speaks to coaching as much as to depth of talent.

GM: Douglas Emerson. In the past two years I've systematically assembled a balanced team with scoring and defensive presence throughout. The lynch pin was the move of Bryan Little, Chris Kelly and blue chip prospect Dougie Hamilton for rhe aforementioned Eric Staal in a true win-win for both teams. It took the roster a while to play up to their potential, but now they are and the results speak for themselves.
