fantastic news... nice to see these prospects signing..really looking forward to seeing him play and next year we will get to see some real competition with talented youth trying to make the roster, rather than older overpriced veterans with little upside.

Beuno. I wish I could understand the 50 contract situation.

The only person left that I would really love to sign is Kichton.

Glad Mayfield is in the fold. I thought he would have a Junior season at Denver, but with the coach he committed to leaving, it was probably a wise choice for him to start his Pro career. Hoping Kichton signs, with a graduation of Donovan next year (I expect that). Top 4 for Bridgeport could be:

de Haan-Mayfield
Pedan-Kichton

(Ness and Cantin are also under contract for next season)

Its funny, a few weeks ago we all thought we werent gonna be able to sign Lee and Mayfield. Weve been so conditioned to expect being negged by our own prospects, but this is big news. I really love this kids potential. Im stoked we got him inked. 3 years too bc of his age. Awesomeness

You obviously know him more than I do. I've seen him play a couple of times. If it comes down to it, I won't be heartbroken if he doesn't sign.

His skill set, from what I have seen, is that of a 3rd liner, even in Bridgeport. Which would be fine if he was a center, but he's a winger. I think there are a bunch of guys throughout the league in the AHL with that kind of skillset.

WOAHHHHHH!!! Prospects come on down.....WOW we wre going to be beasts if some of these kids pan out....

I love Mayfield turning PRO....

Let him and Pedan develope in the AHL and learn the pro game for a couple of seasons...

We could be looking at a scary Blue line and top 6 when the puck drops at Barclay in Brooklyn....

In before they should call him up to replace Streit.

Theoret can play Center and is quite good on draws. But yes he can play LW. Just so happens that He played next to Strome on the Wing and now Schiefele. But trust me there is a reason why OHL coaches keep putting Theoret on the wing of their star Centers. He does the grunt work, plays hard, plays smart. He earned a contract in my book. Kid is a potential NHL bottom 6 player, I would like to retain any potential NHL player period, I've had enough of the Aaron Ness, Jason Clark stuff, those are gambles this team doesn't need to make any longer.

What's scary is seeing all this excitement makes ya wonder if Snow is not as bad as we have all thought.

Snow seems to be good in some areas not so good in others, while some things you just can't judge him because he doesn't have somebody bankrolling him to spend

If I was assigning him a grade I would give him a C+/B-

Theoret deserves a contract. Maybe he is just a third line grinder but he can play center or wing. When I saw him play in November the improvement in his skating made him sign worthy, it allowed him to use his skills better.

What happens if we buyout a guy like Clark. Will his contract still count?
