I can't remember, was this something people said about Garrison before/right after he signed with us? I don't recall anyone saying he was this good defensively...just that he had a bomb of a slapper and was pretty solid.

Completely agree. He has literally been getting better every single game, even his first pass is looking more confident. Just another terrific FA signing.

Yes, that's what Florida fans said about him. (And people that watched the Panthers.) He played shutdown minutes for them for two years against other top lines (Malkin, Stamkos, Ovechkin, etc.) and allowed the least GA per 60 minutes of any D-man on his team despite those tough minutes.
