That was nice of the Regehr family.

Also, I've thought Myers has had a really solid game so far

And did Brad May ever play in Ottawa? Why is he on their broadcast?

Myers is playing well. I agree with Stokes that sometimes, when vets are moved, kids really blossom. The timid nature of playing with someone so experienced is gone, and they take pride in it becoming "their" team.

Without checking, he appears to be logging some serious minutes and he's flourishing.

I simply loved having him here. I don't think he was/is as "shot" as Rivet was towards the end. Granted he has lost a step. Man, if we acquired him 4-5 years ago instead of 2, it would have been so nice. Classy guy 100%. I think I'll root for LA in the playoffs.

The issue is the ignorance level on this board for how incredible that ratio is. Also Kaleta isn't anywhere near the top of the league in penalties taken per 60mins played nor the bonehead you want to portray him as. I'm fairly confident you also had no clue he is SEVENTH on the Sabres in penalties taken per 60mins played. There is no one near him in penalties drawn on the team.

Patty has actually got the ratio to 5 drawn for every 1 taken.

Currently Patty is at 4.6 drawn for every .9 taken

By comparison Ott draws 1 penalty for every 1.3 he takes.

Regehr had Robi talk about how much he and his family loved it in Buffalo because he didn't get a chance to after the trade.

I've noticed Myers playing better lately as well. The thing is, this trend of his slow starts (incredibly slow for this season) is something that needs to be addressed. We can't wait 20-30 games every year for Myers to get his $h*t together. I believe coaching will fix this, and we'll see Myers start to blossom like we know he can.

Funny to see Adam partying like he scored an actual meaningful goal and then on the ice with his man scoring the goal against. Heh.

He works for Sportsnet, which covers all Canadian teams.
He's not specific to Senators broadcasts.

I agree. I wonder how much the late start messed him up. I wouldn't be surprised if he lost focus during that time.

He wasn't in good shape when he went to Europe, then sprained his ankle. It may be that he's finally getting his wind.

I didn't realize all of that. However, penalties will be drawn if its a true penalty regardless of who the player is drawing the penalty.

I'd like to see the number of penalties drawn without Kaleta in the line up.

It still doesn't address that he can go board to board and not even think about letting up. His penalties always seem like he could've avoided them.
