Just watched the oil game, and if you get a chance watch the Hank goal again, its funny ****, Henrik passes it from behind the net, the all the Oiler D turns around slowly skate towards Daniel, leaving 2 Canucks wide open with shooting lanes

Anyone think Yakupov had the jitters last night with Bure being in the stands?

Just a random thought. Did Kassian and Roy ever play on the same line in Buffalo?

Maybe Kassian will help convince Roy to re-sign

Don't know if they showed this on the Vancouver broadcast (was watching the Oilers one) but he got to meet him before the game (Bure is his favourite player, for anyone that doesn't know) and got some pictures taken with him.

You remember the year Kesler missed most of the season, then returned in game in game 1 vs Dallas and was an animal before he broke his finger?

He'll be hungry. It won't take much to get him riled up to play.

We can do this pretty much with any injury Kesler has had.

Its incredible how much having Roy makes our line up look better.

Sans Roy (sounds like a font name) the line up looks really bad.

I don't know why people in this thread want Jordan Schroeder on the playoff roster.

He won't help this team win.

Hank/Kes/Roy are your centres.
Higgins/Hansen/Raymond/Daniel/Burrows/Kassian round out your top nine.

That's your top 3 lines.

Would love to have seen Torres over Kassian, but thems the breaks.

Schroeder doesnt fit.

Higgins is all that is man.

Proof is in the beard.

Has Flames1084 changed his name to Canucks1084 yet or is he waiting until his brother takes him out for a fancy dinner?

That broken foot was not a result of coming back early. I ain't a doctor, but I can assure you no amount of preparation will protect a foot from a puck.

Friend in Van texted me that he saw Higgy and Roy at Joe Fortes for lunch.

The solution to Kesler's injury woes. He sits every game against Dallas.

I would love to see Kassian get a chance with Roy and Higgy. Imagine the time and space he would create for Roy to set up Higgy.

Big next 7 days for us and the Wild. We have to take advantage of the next 4 games.
We have the Flames-Yotes-Flames-Av's
The Wild have the surprisingly good Bluejackets, Hawks, Blues and Blue Jackets.
No reason we can't go 4-0. The Wild have 3 of their 4 games against bubble teams. They could very easily lose all four.

This is the logical fit sans-Booth in my opinion. Hansen fits better with Raymond-Kesler and I think Kassian might work better with Higgins-Roy on the cycle.
