I would say I'm more concerned with Fleury's inability to win, period, let alone the playoffs. His regular season since about January was not good.

I think he'll get some more action, probably once Chiodo faulters. If he bombs again, I'll write him off.

Will chiodo falter though, thats the question.

He stood on his head last years playoff as well carrying them to the finals against milwaukee.

But Caron still got a few games in when Chiodo lost. He's not going to win every game, that I'm sure of.

My guess is Chiodo will lose this Friday, giving Fleury a shot on Saturday. It will be a big time pressure-cooker, a must-win situation.

Right now it's not the best situation for the Pens. I figured at the start of the season that if Chiodo outplayed Fleury for playing time, great, because we've still got one heck of a goaltender either way. But it's the opposite, Chiodo flopped during the regular season but is still outplaying Fleury in the playoffs.

Jacob do you know the mini-pens main opinion of fleury? I know he thinks highly of whitney, but whats his impression of fleury? I can imagine he's not the biggest fleury fan.

Fleury only played in 2 playoff games last year and was certainly not the starter. He was the third goalie for the bulk of the playoffs last season.

Chiodo, honestly, is suprising me right now because frankly he sucked during the regular season. He was stuck in the ECHL for the bulk of the season because he couldn't keep up with Fleury & Sabourin. He's just magic in the playoffs though. That kind of stuff will definitely open up some eyes. I've felt he could definitely be a starter in the NHL but he's just reinforcing my thoughts with his play right now.

Fleury...I'm not really worried, per se, but I'm not happy either. The Penguins seriously need to get a goaltending coach, stat.

You mean Therrien? He's hard on his goaltenders, demands a lot from them. But I'm certain he's high on Fleury.

Anyone else having trouble getting to B2 Networks so I can watch game 5? They say to click on the link ten minutes before game time, but when I click on the link, it just brings me to the team list so I could see their schedule.

They said there were technical difficulties. I missed the first 8 minutes or so of the game. Thanks though

It's nice to know that they breed the choking in the Sens organization at the AHL level...

Yeah, Spezza was pretty much invisible tonight. The Sens only started off strong. The second period belonged to the Penguins. The third period only belonged to the Sens for four seconds, when Vermette scored the very soft Powerplay Goal.

I don't think either Chiodo or Emery had a good game.

Talbot and VandenBussche get my thumbs up for a game well played.

So a 3-2 series lead for Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, and all of a sudden Binghamton are well and truly up against the proverbial wall. Winning in Wilkes-Barre on the brink of elimination on Sunday will be difficult.

Um...arrogant pens fans if you didn't know the series isn't over yet.

Actually, even if we lose this series, it's absolutely ridiculous some of the early predictions here.
The arrogance was on the Sens part sorry.

I don't see what's wrong with those predictions, as they're the same predictions that any objective observer most likely would have come up with. The Penguins were completely dominated by the Sens during the regular season. The Penguins were also going into the playoffs with horrendous goaltending. The only reason things have turned around is because WBS got extremely lucky with Chiodo playing as he has.

Don't tell me you seriously expected Chiodo to come to the rescue again.

Chiodo has always come up big in key moments.
But WB as a whole is a team with a lot of heart and always hard to beat in the playoffs (two big runs in the past three years).

It's not so much about the prediction but rather the way they were put that I found arrogant.
So it's only fair to give them the return.
Whatever happens next, these Baby Sens won't have dominated WB the way some thought they would.

Even so, they've already exceeded expectations. Even if we lose the next two.

I don't think Sens fans expected Chiodo to play.
