Shouldn't be a concern. Edmonton only has one arena right now and they have the Oilers, Oil Kings, and the Lacrosse team playing there and they still manage to get more concerts than Winnipeg. Even if the MTS Centre does host a WHL team, it should still draw all the major concert acts it did before.

Peopls complaints about parking is my biggest issue.

Yup. Plenty of free parking to be found north of Portage between Cumberland and Ellice Ave.
