It's not a matter of doubting Iggy, but rather that the two are a bit redundant. Iggy and Neal are both great triggermen. So let's spread out the wealth here.

Fleury knew he was going to be facing lots of shots tonight.
Looks good out there.

Well, plenty of Rangers ended up on their *****. That's a start, but it can only do so much to make up for a non-existent breakout. Basically treading water in that department until at least Letang returns.

Everyone in the world except for the guy who makes this decision believes Morrow should be on Malkin's line. Unfortunately that one vote rules.

This needs to happen. Having Neal and Iginla on the same line creates too much indecisiveness. That line needs Morrow. Better just get some chemistry going with Kunitz and Iginla so that line is more ready to go when Sid comes back.

I don't know. If Iginla stays on Malkin's line throughout the playoffs, I'd let him stay there. They need to develop chemistry.

Are the people who are saying the Iginla, Malkin, Neal line is redundant and won't work the same people who said Kunitz was washed up after 3 games this year?

Give it a rest guys. Malkin is playing out of control right now and not using his linemates. He is the key to that line. In case you haven't noticed Iginla isn't purely a sniper. He bangs on the boards and makes plays.

I have faith that if Iginla continues to not work, DB will throw Morrow there or form Kunitz-Malkin-Neal again. DB loves to exhaust things and goes with things til fail is an absolution.

This lineup still wouldn't hurt having Bennett in it though.

Vitale-TK-Adams would be a pretty annoying line to play against.

****ing Christ I honestly don't remember a more useless player than Tanner Glass.
So you're saying have 2 guys that can score goals and be pesky (TK and Vitale) ... and a strong Vet in Adams for the PK ...

makes too much sense. sorry, try again.

I do finally need a look at Crosby with Iginla when Crosby is back, though.

I don't know if you put Dupuis on the third line or Kunitz on the second line.

I liked Morrow on that second line, so maybe it'd be nice to look at that again. Dupers has played well enough to deserve a top 6 spot, though. So. I don't know.

since malkin doesn't shoot anymore, maybe he should stay with kunitz/dupuis like at the end of the period and throw in some drop passes

I say 3 more games and if that top line still doesn't produce, that's when you move players around

Kunitz - Crosby - Iginla
Morrow - Malkin - Neal
Cooke - Sutter - Dupuis
Kennedy - Vitale - Adams

This is what I'd like to see, but I doubt it happens.

When do the roster restrictions get lifted so we can bring Beau back?

So clearly the best line up. Just drop Kennedy for Jokinen.

So we put two snipers with a guy who we WANT to shoot the puck ... makes sense. In the immortal words of Ace Venture ... "Three darts is too muuuuuuch!"

The Rangers are shutting off both boards at the same time and they're getting a good amount of turnovers that way. You need to keep them honest with some up the middle break outs.
