I guess the Hart Trophy is going to Crosby, even though he's out for the remainder of the season.
Getzlaf has a small chance for Art Ross. At least if he keeps up his current form. I do think Crosby will get passed by someone there...Kane is my bet. Would be so awesome if Getzlaf took it home though.
Koivu has to many PIM to contend for Lady Byng?
BB should without a doubt at least get nominated for Jack Adams.
I think if Getzlaf wins the Art Ross, he wins the Hart. It's hard to win MVP awards when you miss a significant amount of time, and the Penguins are stacked with or without Crosby, so there's an legit argument that Getzlaf's more valuable to the Ducks than Crosby is to the Pens.
I don't think Crosby wins the Hart if he remains out for the season. Unless he comes back or Getzlaf's production reverts to early season level of just under PPG I think it's close between Crosby and Getzlaf.
Getzlaf has quite a few things going for him in the voting, Ducks are a huge suprise team which he's clearly carrying this season. Tampa is doing way too bad for Stamkos to win it. Between Kane and Toews it's hard to choose Chicago's MVP. Between Montreal and Boston there's Chara.
Boudreau will and should get nominated for the Jack Adams.
I doubt Getzlaf wins the art ross - Stamkos is my frontrunner. The hart has to (an will) go to Crosby - what a year even if he misses the rest of the regular season.
As much as Getzlaf deserves to be in the hart conversation I think the media thinks Kane and Toews have been better from the West and obviously Crosby and Stamkos will get more votes than him from the East. I still cannot agree with anyone who thinks Toews or Kane has been better than Getzlaf this season but of course Chicago games are a lot easier to stay up for than Ducks games.
Beauch has been great this year but I don't think he's worthy of the Norris. Ryan Suter has been amazing for Minnesota and there are a few other guys who are ahead of Beauch IMO. He's certainly played like a legit #1 guy this year though.
