Tallon and Dineen are angry.

http://www.hockeybuzz.com/blog/Dan-S...9#.UWSGsRnR30g

Good article embedding some of the bad calls effecting us this short season.

I am of the position of when we win we will get our due respect; but you view these and your blood boils.

I never want to be the "refs are screwing us guy" because all team's get some bad calls ... but this season has just been out of hand for the Panthers and it's pretty obvious to people even outside the Panthers' community. Apparently if you are named "Tomas" you are out of the NHL's jurisdiction ... both Flash and TomKop have been killed all season w/ no help from the refs.

I worry about Dino constantly abusing refs from the bench (not that they don't completely deserve it), and in the post game as well, because by now, he probably has a reputation and I don't think that can help us get calls. Maybe that's just complete fallacy on my part, but it's just my opinion.

I could see that costing us on possibly some of the more borderline calls, but some of the missed calls this year have been so blatant that it makes you stand up and shout.

Completely agree, but as I said, the refs know who's behind the bench and as much as I think they have the right to garner attention to the situation, in the short term, it can't help us on those borderline calls that you bring up.

You may be right, but I'd much rather Dineen show his displeasure than let it slide. I hated it when PDB just stood there emotionless.

4 or 5 calls over the course of a season? Enough with the sour grapes. The team sucks because their best players are either teenagers or injured.

You clearly haven't watched many Panthers games. Those mentioned in the article are just a few of what has happen

The issue is not the amount of calls but the severity of them for or against (kopcky, ovi, gudbaranson were all majors and game changing.)

I think this is more the league giving their stars preferential treatment. For the Ovi and Nash hits, that it.

I didn't see those games, did anyone go after them later?

Versteeg moronically went after ovi and probably aggravated whatever ailed him.

I don't think in the Kopy incident anyone actually saw wtf happened.

Versteeg came back in went after Ovi then was gone for the rest of the game then for a couple weeks. Nash hit was right at end of one goal game, and even though they didnt call anything the refs made a wall around Nash. Plus the Panthers never stick up for teammates so who knows.

Agree on all except that culture is changing, slowly, with the kids.

Guds does and will even more when he is confident in his shoulder.

These kids are so tight knowing each other through juniors, training camp, rooming, etc.

I perceive a completely different culture than the Horton Ollie Jaybo gang.
