New York Rangers @ Carolina Hurricanes, Saturday, April 6th 7 PM EST

Who? : @

When? Saturday, April 6th, 7 PM.

Where? PNC Arena in Raleigh, North Carolina

Carolina Hurricanes:

Jiri Tlusty-Eric Staal-Alex Semin

Jeff Skinner-Jordan Staal-Pat Dwyer

Tuomo Ruutu-Riley Nash-Chad LaRose

Drayson Bowman-Tim Brent-Kevin Westgarth

Tim Gleason-Joe Corvo

Jay Harrison-Jamie McBain

Marc Andre Bergeron-Brett Bellemore

Bobby Sanguinetti

Dan Ellis

Justin Peters

New York Rangers

Rick Nash-Derek Stepan-Ryan Callahan

Mats Zuccarello-Brad Richards-Ryane Clowe

Carl Hagelin-Derrick Brassard-Brian Boyle

Arron Asham-Darrol Powe-Taylor Pyatt

Michael Del Zotto-Dan Girardi

Ryan McDonagh-Anton Stralman

John Moore-Steve Eminger

Henrik Lundqvist

Martin Biron

In the two teams' previous meeting, the Rangers won 2-1 in a shootout on a goal by JT Miller. Eric Staal had the lone tally for the Hurricanes. On Saturday, the Hurricanes look to put a halt to their recent struggles and perhaps throw themselves back into contention for the Southeast division title. It is possible that Martin Biron will get the nod for the Rangers as starter Henrik Lundqvist played the previous night in Pittsburgh. Dan Ellis should get the nod for the Canes but it is also feasible that it would go to Justin Peters.

Colorado got a point, but somehow Calgary managed to lose their game in regulation

Rangers completely outplayed the Pens and should have won, if not for a hot goaltender on the other end. They won't have that problem against the Canes

Will be at this one. Hate attending losses but it'll help the tank.

Time for someone to blast me about wanting the team to tank.

We will somehow win this game 4-0 or 3-1. Book it. Our team is messed this year and this game screams troll win.

Will be there, late (as per usual after work)

Will also be paper bagging it. So the question is, what do I want written on the back, "WE WANT SETH" or this with a caption of "BOO THIS TEAM", thinking the later is funnier but probably harder to pull off.

If you're going to wear a paper bag, make it a Bojangles bag.

That way, you can still see the game!

Are you me? That's what I'll be doing.

Like I said in the other thread, I just want to see an entertaining game. A win would be nice, but whatever happens, make it happen in regulation.

Ellis has an epic game with 47 saves. An MAB slapper breaks Semin's elbow, but nets a goal.

4-1 loss.

Don't really care if we win or not in all honesty.

If we win cool
If not...meh, whatever

Hoping much more for a Syracuse win than seeing these losers win a game that may cost us our drive for MacKinnon.

Going to the game, but I'm sure they'll suck and make the decision to leave early to watch the Syracuse game an easy one.

ANY other coach at Michigan and I'd agree with you 1000%, yes, a thousand not just a hundred. But John Beilein is the man to me, the guy turned around the basketball program at West Virginia and had the team literally just a shot away from the Final Four while he was the coach there. I won't pretend they would have had a chance against UNC that year, but that team was the definition of what it means to be much more then the sum of their parts. On top of that he's a total class act. If there's any one coach in the game right now that deserves a title before he retires it's John.

And to get things back on track, Zac Dalpe has been recalled. Hopefully for the rest of the season. Just slot him alongside Nash and Skinner and never ever let that line anywhere near the defensive zone.

Tlusty // Eric // Semin
LaRose // Jordan // Ruutu
Dalpe // Nash // Skinner
Dwyer // Brent // Bowman-Westgarth-Bergeron

Dwyer/LaRose/Bowman are interchangeable.

Poor Jordan. Poor, poor Jordan.

Hopefully Dalpe can get back on track tonight. Would be nice if he could stick.
