Simple: they have a massive virtual ad thing in centrefield and they want to expose it as much as possible.

Dammit EE.

Either way, when someone is hurt like that, nobody should be booing.

Makes me feel like a Bruins fan.

Thank you.

I feel the same way when TSN gives us that behind the net look during a powerplay.

1) Reyes needs to hit in the 3 spot.

2) Fans were not booing Lackey. They first started booing when they saw him almost hit Reyes, but once they realized that was his intention, and that he was actually hurt, they stopped. They then started booing Farrell coming out -- not Lackey. On the video replay, you can actually see some fans clapping for him.

3) The Farrell chants are silly. This guy is getting the Josh Hamilton treatment, when he's by definition mediocre. So the Jays lost a mediocre manager. Good. "Why u heff to be mad?"

the only time they should go to the backstop cam is on replays of hits. No live shot should use it because you lose all sense of the pitch/at bat.

he's too valuable as a leadoff guy. Another day or two and this won't be an issue anymore anyway.

Nice outing Happ. Would've liked one more inning but impressive nonetheless! At 100 pitches (or 99?)

I think it was too early to pull Happ, he's been so good thus far.

There's probably enough people in the place sitting far enough back that they wouldn't realize what's happened until after the fact or as Lackeys coming off. Doesn't make it right, but that's what I'd assume.

Why pull Happ? He deserved to be able to finish the inning.

It's too early in the season, you can't have the guy's pitch count over 100 at this point.

Good start for Happ, shame he couldn't get through the 6th inning.

I don't like the use of Delabar with righties coming up. He destroys lefties and gets destroyed by righties.
