Thank you Marian Gaborik!!!

I think he's earned this thread.

You were awesome here....you weren't perfect, but you scored goals and made this team exciting in your 3 seasons here. Wishing you the best of luck is Columbus!!

Saw my first hat trick because of Gabby, 8-2 win vs. the Oilers at end of 2010. FROM THE SIDE!

Hope Gaborik tears it up for the BJs and shows this organization a huge middle finger for giving up on him. Congrats Gabby! I'm so happy you got far away from this clown of a coach. Do your thing, you're now a franchise player for an organization with a VERY bright future ahead of it.

I hope he is happier. He must have been really unhappy to be willing to accept a trade to go from playing in NY to Columbus.

Thanks for the good times Gabby! Don't light us up too bad next season.

Go CBJ!

Hope you don't score another 5 goals against us next year! Kill everybody else though.

Like someone in the trade thread said, he must've had some serious problems with NYR to waive for Columbus..

Best of luck Gabs

To sign the contract he did, and deliver as much as he did, in NYC... That's just impressive and not easy to do, just ask Richards

Way to go Gabby, enjoy your freedom! Hope CBJ makes the playoffs.

Hope you start having fun again.

Looked like you were playing un-happy hockey here in NY this year.

Go and get the Jackets in the PO's.

Good luck

Every expert said this was a bad signing you coming here with all the injury problems, But for the most part you delivered big time. That triple OT goal in the playoffs was one of my greatest memories. You accomplished a lot without ever playing with a center who could compliment you.

Thanks Gabby !

Feel bad for Gaborik because he was on the outs for no reason after doing everything he could to adapt to Torts' system.

He also was Sather's first major signing that wasn't a bust.

Wishing him the best of luck.

Every big Free Agent contract Glen Sather gave away in the past 15 years has been an unmitigated disaster. Except Marian Gaborik. Watching him snipe his first year was some of the most fun I've had watching a Ranger play hockey in a long long time. So here's to snipes, triple overtime goals, and Christmas trees.

Gaborik was a great Ranger. I'll remember his time here positively. His 40+ goal seasons were huge for this team. He needed a change of scenery in a big way however. He probably takes this scenario as motivation and come back strong next season. He'll have some chemistry with Dubi and Anisimov in CLB too. Gaborik has rotated up-down seasons, production wise, since 07-08 with MIN. If history indicates anything, Gabs will bounce back next season!

I'll miss the guy. Hopefully Nash is the next 40-goal scorer in NY.
