Habs vs Philly

They haven't played since last Thursday, everybody should be well rested and ready to go!

Were you worried they wouldn't be?

Get Simmonds for Gionta and 15th round pick.

Do you have a mind control device to make Philly agree to that?

Can we get a save in the first 20 minutes ?

Goals for the game.

Make some saves.
Have someone who isn't a midget stand in front of the net.

Similar result to the Buffalo game. Big W, but because of the TML loss it won't appease people completely.

Those TML losses definitely leave a bad taste in the mouth.

Not so much that I hate the TML... just the letdown after anticipating the game.

Please win. Please Please Please Win.

Price should start, we're guaranteed a spot in the playoffs, it's better to get him in game shape than to maneuver for the W. I just want to win though, Philly is a big test no matter how bad a season they're having.

Um... I haven't heard a word about Prust's state of health. I missed what happened because I was banging my head with a hammer at the time, so please fill me in. Did he re-injure his shoulder?

Saw half the Flyers team at Globe last night with 2 bottles of grey goose to start the night. Hopefully they'll be all partied out and weak by tomorrow's game...

Play Budaj.

Price needs a solid few days of heavy practice.

You mean the guy with 39 points in 41 games, better than anyone on our team ? He's not doing the best, but that doesn't mean he won't turn it on tomorrow.

I like Price but I hope Budaj starts.

Send him a message that he has to wake up and start playing better.

I want to see how Price rebounds. Play him. He's our franchise goalie. Budaj isn't winning us a Cup. Price needs to play through it. Let him get the virus out of his system now than later.

He was rested for the Leafs game and it didn't do him any favor.

Agreed.

If the big concern is Price's mental state, I can think of no better way to screw with it than to punish him for an off-night (though admittedly it was one big-ass off night). Price is The Man - treat him like it.

As much as I like Budaj, he shouldn't have been extended...the management should have brought in someone who can't replace Price, but that can at least challenge him. That way the coach could make the decision to bench Price for small periods of times to send him a message without having to worry about the backup not being able to handle the load.

Price is our franchise goalie, I know every goalie can have off-nights but his showing against the Leafs was beyond brutal. I hope he bounces back if he starts tomorrow

I just don't get how these guys do it. And it happens ALL the time with FAR more than two bottles of GG (Lol, that's probably just for baby Briere). I was in Vegas last weekend and I'm still ruined, feel like dying. Apart from being elite athletes, pro stars are elite partiers and I have to give them a weird kind of props for that. Cure for massive binge hangover: be in good enough shape for the bigs.

Then again, we all saw how smooth they were at clubs in "This is 40". Does Lappy rejoin the team to swap his gums with the Megan Fox's of the club scene?

Is Price talk all we're going to hear from now until the game? Jeez get off his nuts people he's going to be fine, that was a serious off night and he looked really bad but let's get over it already he will bounce back as he always does.

As for the game itself, it's going to be a tough one because Philly seems to have our number. We need revenge for last time so hopefully the offense wakes up if not I would like to see some tweaks in the top 9. Gionta, DD and Patch, looking at you fellas.

Do you think at this point in his career (it was different with Halak), Carey really needs a message? What he needs is games to get into his zone.

I'm loving Boooods more and more every day.

My dad always says the Price is kinda like Roy, where if he allows a bad/somewhat saveable goal, then the pucks seem to always hit the net after that.

It's all or nothing.
I was too young to remember Roy in the Canadiens, but is it a good comparison?

All in all, I expect a huge game by Price tomorrow (He will start).
