Great win!!!!
I approve of the new and improved Joensuu
Love the tenacity this team has
Hickey is playing awesome
still hate the black jerseys
it took a while but the Okposo-Nielson-Bailey line is really good right now
feeling like an ape, ape man,,,

Well said StumpNYI! They are a confident group. Okposo's got fire in his legs these days.

How was Bailey? I love how he has been playing the past month - he just seems like he has really matured and looks like a man instead of a kid playing the game.
Bailey is hotter than St. Lucia.

5G 9pts in last 11games, and a +7 - playing against opponent top lines.

Solid player.

I think this club is starting to believe in themself.
I was very impressed with JJ.

Unless Lee is playing lights out, I don't want the isles burning a yr off his ELC. So, Cappy's gotta limit Lee's number of games to only 3 of the remaining 9

Lee has been terrible in the defensive zone. Has anyone noticed instead of stops and starts he just kind of skates around and puts himself out of position?

Lee was much better tonight than in his first game. But Jesse was on another level. That was by far the best game he's played in the NHL. He is so damn big & he played big tonight too. Only thing he didn't do was put it in the net.

I'm looking for any reason to never play Reasoner again. Whats Ullstroms deal? Is he still hurt in the AHL?

Somebody with more time on their hands should do a breakdown between Bailey's stats at center and wing.

Absolute-lee.

Nino or Ullstrom back up, or perhaps Strome...Lee is a fantastic prospect, but I hope some of the pumpers are starting to see the difference between NCAA and NHL players.

it's games like this that convince me the league is telling the refs not to call anything for us.

Just back from the game.. great atmosphere.. big two points.. JJ/Lee/2nd line all good.. plus I won a trip and tix to the boston game by answering question on the big board... i should go out and play the lottery.. still pumped from the game and almost no voice left.

Since the OT loss to Toronto on February 28th the Isles are
8-5-1 in March
3-0-1 in April so far

Thats 11-5-2 in the last 18 games

would love to see Boyes benched and JJ play instead.

Can't believe I'm saying this but Reasoner needs to play instead of Lee. Lee is not polished enough to play in the race.

It seriously feels that way. Like 5 missed calls. Another high stick missed (should've been a double minor) so many high sticks missed lately. I know we can't blame lack of pps w.e etc but eventually we need the calls we deserve like the opponent is getting or it's going to burn us. To see this team work this hard and get screwed would not be unreal.

Ok so...I may be getting ahead of myself, but with 6th place in striking distance, rooting for a Panthers win tomorrow when they play the Sens. Here's hoping the Sabres beat the devils tomorrow too

This game proves that the fans show up when the team is winning. Great to see the sell out tonight.

It feels so awesome to see the Isles getting closer and closer to playoffs. I want Isles/Pens, I'd be able to feel the hatred from here, and I think the Isles would beat them. The Oilers and Isles are two similar franchises and with NYI finding ways to win after a painful rebuild hopefully we follow suit.
