Usually MC...
But if the MC involves questions that force you to circle more than 1 right answer...
Not getting credit if you missed one...
And having to change the wording on the incorrect choices...

Then essay all the way.

I had a really sadistic teacher...
In grade 8.
The highest anybody got was 70% on that one...
And only 3 people passed.
I was not one of them.

Thank God it was only high school.

He also never did it again...
Probably because it took too much time to mark.

Whilst waiting for Game of Thrones: Book 1 to arrive via Amazon, I read To Kill a Mockingbird for the first time since Grade 10. Surprisingly entertaining - I remember being really engrossed in the court room scenes, but there was a lot of great bits in that book.

Haha, same here. I remember thinking that I'd never drink beer again after trying one of my dad's Budweiser's when I was a kid, but nope.
I'm not a big beer drinker or anything but I don't mind it at all playing beer pong. Except Keystone. That ****'s awful.

So I picked #11 in ball hockey this season... Does this make me a bad person?

Good decision. I read all 5 books over the summer and don't regret it for a second. Makes the show somewhat less entertaining now, but I think that's just because the novels are so good.

At least in 24 more hours it will be summer for me. Even though I've tanked through 3 more lectures today, I still feel extremely complacent. I still don't know **** either. I think I'll just not study 1 of the last 2 and focus on the ones I've done. See you all on when it's my summer.

Depends on what kind of exam it is.

I couldn't believe it when my Finance prof made the midterm an MC exam. If you did any step of the question wrong you most likely lost all marks... lol, so lazy.

I had a macro-economics prof (a looong time ago lol) who hated reading bullcrap on questions requiring several paragraph answers; so he said for those people that left the question blank - they'd automatically get 25% on that particular question. *However* if you wrote *anything* (that was essentially crap), you'd get zero.

I remember another time where I took a cost accounting course at UBC where there was a few MC questions (roughly 15% of the exam). Unfortunately, I had spent far too much time on the rest of the exam & had but a few minutes to answer the 'multiple-guess' questions. So being the "bright person" that I was, I thought to maximize my chances of getting at least SOME of the correct, I would purposely select the same letter for all the MC questions. Seemed like a good idea right? I knew I had ****'ed up when the prof said - before handing back the marked papers - there was one smart student who seemed to run out of time on the exam & had selected the same letter for all the MC question. Problem for the student, he picked the wrong letter....

(good thing I 'aced' the rest of the exam though).
