Thanks.

But Hartzell is a monster, but his 5-hole is also a monster. All three goals in the national championship were 5-hole.
Don't they mention that town in Fargo? "Geeze I'm goin' crazy up there by the lake!"

Bombulie wrote that Seymour and Murray have already left WBS again, they were only there for a couple weeks for trainings. Ruopp is the only tryout still around.

Baby Pens are virtually locked into the the #5 spot in the East so they could give Hartzell a few games. On the other hand Zatkoff and Thiessen have a pretty effective rotation going and Hynes may not want to mess with it now that the team is on that nice winning streak.

Since Murray and Maguire are at least a few years away the signing of Hartzell is nice. It also guarantee that Thiessen is gone next season. Zatkoff have 1 more year after this.

Zatkoff is a great goalie who should be geting a 1-way deal on his next contract, and playing with him should only help with Hartzells developement.

Now lets hope we can sign Laganiere or some other forward as well!

Are there any big names left besides Lananiere?

Regardless of a stupid first name (should we really be complaining about that?), reading his talent analysis on hockeysfuture, he seems like Bylsma's wet dream.

I'm hoping for him too. It will make up for not having draft picks this year.

Does signing Hartzell mean we don't have space for D'Agostino?

I thought D'Agostino had an injury. Otherwise, I thought he would have been signed to an ATO.

We should have some prospect contracts that are up after this season like Veilleux that won't be renewed right?

If we sign DŽagostino (or anyone els for that matter that wont play in NHL/AHL this season), his contract will slip and wont count until next season from what i understand

Thanks for the info, interested to see if D'Agostino gets signed or if we can win the Laganiere sweepstakes.

I tell you my wish list of signings are:
Laganiere we need more forward depth he has skills.
Gus Young he was all over the place looked like he was in great position too.
Jeff Malcolm he's 24 won it for Yale and we can never have too many goalies in system.
My feeling is since we don't have a pick till the 3rd round sign or invite as many undrafted players we can.

Here's a highlight video for laganiere. What would you say his potential is? Top 9? Top 6?

I don't think he's a top 6 guy but he reminds me a lot of Sutter.

Up to be signed? The bolded are the only ones that need to be decided on soon, the rest have another year or more.

I was thinking that's more what I would have pictured Mike Rupp looking like in college.

Some people are saying 2nd line but that's at best. Most say he would be a 3rd liner
