Didn't think of that.

That's an awesome idea. I'll do that.

Not sure if the Yotes boards posters will have much of a sense of humor about it since it seems any mention of a Canadian franchise at all (Jets and Nordiques especially) gets taken as a relocation shot, but at least it would be coming from one of their own.

Hadn't heard if he's back in the lineup yet or not. If he is, probably not. We'll probably still manage to give up a goal or two regardless of who's playing in goal, probably something stupid like an idiotic turnover while we're on the power play and giving up a rather irrelevant short-handed goal.

A relocation joke coming from a fan of the team should be taken well. Not to mention it could just be a "classic" type GDT. I'm glad you like the idea.

Been bored with my guitar playing lately. Trying to do some of this kind of stuff, only without the two extra strings.

I have Emery, Reimer and Smith starting tonight, and I really only need a shutout, but I can only choose two goalies.

I wouldn't choose Smith just to be on the safe side. I just scrolled through the Coyotes' Twitter feed and the only thing I noticed about Mike Smith was a link to him talking about recovering from his injury. Good chance he's out of the lineup, especially since it's a concussion and the NHL walks on eggshells about them these days.

Smith, who has been dealing with a recent upper body injury, will start in net for the Coyotes Saturday, according to team beat writer Dave Zorn.
Spin: Smith has been out ever since getting hit in the head by Alex Edler of the Canucks on March 21. He practiced during the week and looks good to go for Saturday. Prior to the injury, Smith had a 2.83 GAA with a 90.1 save percentage. We'd give him a game or two just to play it safe before inserting him back into your lineup.

I need to follow Dave Zorn.

I only had the Coyotes' official Twitter account followed.

Mike Smith is 7-1-1 with a .952 SV% and 1.59 GAA against the Avalanche in his career. He went 3-0-0 vs. COL in 2011-12 #Coyotes
