Ok so I'm playing NHL 13 last night like any other night, suddenly during a game, out of nowhere BOOM a error message saying "Disc is unreadable need to clean disk blah blah".

It exits me to the main screen and a window pops up saying an update is needed there is a problem. I had to turn off the console from there and restart. After it boots up I get the message saying "System needs to update". I hit yes and then it says "System needs 190 MB to update, please insert memory" WTF I have a 250 GB slim and probably 249 GB free.

I go to Settings and my HDD is now unformatted!! WTFFFFF! I can't even insert a USB drive to pull some data off of it because the HDD is unformatted. I say ok I will just reformat and I get "There is a problem performing this action"! My HDD is totally ****ed from this update!

I googled this and some other ppl had this problem around december and january. Do I have any other options? Or do I just have to buy a new HDD and lose everything. NEVER had a problem with Xbox until now.

Anyone here have any 360 knowledge?

Depending on the department, ASU had some really weird scales.

A music class I took only gave an A for 95%+ and a B was 91-95. By music class I mean marching band, and you had to be pretty retarded to get a B in marching band. If you blew it more than deserving a B then you'd have probably just been kicked out of the band and given a failing grade.

There were some strange scales at the other end of the spectrum too.

Fiest class honours (best)
2.1 (upper second class honours)
2.2 (lower second class honours)
Third class honours
Pass (without honours- worst)

Generally a 2.1 is seen as good because it will get you onto almost all, if not all, Masters programmes and top graduate jobs.

A first equates to the student having an average of over 70%
An upper second (2:1) is between 60% and 69%
A lower second (2:2) is between 50% and 59%
A third is between 40% and 49%

Although the third can vary depending on what the university pass mark is. If you had an average of under 40% you would have failed. Hope this helps

I can only really answer for essay based subjects. But basically, in order for me to get 70+ on an essay or in an exam, I have to write well enough to fufil the following criteria:

Content:
- relevent knowledge & understanding is broad and deep; range of reading implied by the answer is extensive, original and insightful

- moves between general and particular accounts in highly productive ways; understands the complexities of historical work

- historiographically highly aware and conceptually astute

- demonstrates high levels of reflexivity and 'positional' sense

Structure & focus:
- work engages analytically with the question set throughout

- highly organised and coherently structured throughout

- compelling arguements that are highly reflexive and which are expressed with lucidity and economy of style

Expression:
- writing will be lucid, economical and rhetorically persuasive throughout.

- sophisticated vocabulary with an appropriate register throughout

- expresses ideas and theories, concepts and categories with clarity and insight
