A win tonight could really put us in a solid position going forward.

Keep it up guys!! I think that last win was HUGE for this team and the past 2 have hopefully given Elliott some confidence

Blues can ill afford to take CBJ lightly. Blue Jackets played last night as well, so no excuses. I wonder if Allen gets the nod between the pipes tonight.

Let's Go Blues!

I'm hoping Allen gets the nod. Elliott saw a lot of rubber last night, plus OT and shoot out, not to mention, he doesnt have a very good home record.
Gaborik is dangerous, but I am glad they traded Dorsett and Brassard. They seemed to be a thorn in our side.

I really can't wait for the Jackets to go east next season so I can officially root for them. Liking how they've turned themselves around after ridding Nash. Of course credit belongs to JD and Jarmo, miss those guys. But yeah for tonight, Columbus loses and they lose hard.

Blues bring it with confidence of finally beating the Hawks on the road. I missed the game after the second (god I need a new girlfriend) but Elliott looked okay. Might be best to go with Allen tonight though on the b2b. Go Blues!

We need a better game than last nights, we got pinned in our own zone way too much. Has it been confirmed that Allen will be in net?

They will be my favorite team in the East when they move.

I love that Columbus drops Nash and is now in position to (possibly) make the playoffs. There are some pretty likable players on Columbus (Matt Calvert).

Tonight they must go down though.

Never was a fan of Nash, just always thought he was over-rated. He's a good player, don't get me wrong, but got really tired of all the hype surrounding him.

Cracknell will likely be in the lineup. Hitch says Nichol will likely be out again.

yesterdays points were an important, nice bonus but pretty meaningless if we don't win against our near playoff-rivals

this one will be extremely tough to win, need an all-team effort because you can bet they give 100%...everyone of them

yeah, mine too! and it won't take long for them to be a permanent PO contender

btw does anyone know why they split Nik and Tyutin?

I agree. Last summer, everyone kept talking about how the Nash trade was sooooo awful for CBJ (which I think had a lot to do with pretty much every fanbase's tendency to rag on that franchise) but I liked it for CBJ. I thought that Nash would struggle in NY, or at least not be as great as everyone thought, and I thought the players CBJ got back would work really well on the team. I was wrong about Nash, but it's clear that the trade has worked out really well for them. And now with the Gaborik trade, they're an even better team. I too will probably root for them once they're in the East.

This is a really important game, and it'll be tough. Hopefully the Blues can keep their strong play up and I hope they don't take CBJ lightly. Even though Elliott was great last night, I'd go with Allen as well.

Big game here, I think Blues ride the emotion & momentum from last night to a W. Never do like losing to Columbus, even if they are better this year.

Not this team can ever be trusted, but a regulation win puts the Blues odds of making the playoffs at 90%.

Should be hard fought.

Would prefer to see Allen get the nod.

Exactly, I really liked the return they got, especially with Anisimov (always liked that guy). And now Gaborik makes them even better. Jarmo making the right kind of trades to move his team forward, he's like...a wizard or something, lol.

But I hate them tonight, GRRRR...

The way Cracknell played last night, he should be in the line up. Two goals against the Hawks then he's in the press box? I'd be pretty ticked.

A regulation win would really set this team up to make a run. BTW, Columbus is beating us in post count. Where are the drunkards when we need them?

Tonight is a must win night. After beating the Hawks last night, a win tonight could really build up momentum. It could start us on a run. It won't be easy but it's something we need to do.

I'm not there yet, but today is my first corporate business lunch so I'm sure alcohol will flow afterwards.

I'm going to say that Captain America scores again tonight and gets an assist on a goal from the Schnoz to vault himself into the top 3 point scorers on the Blues while HF goes crazy because he doesn't pass the "eye test".
