Lucic braced himself last second. Habs fans are giving him a little too much credit to think he can think and position his body that fast lol. Same way he braced himself from the same hit 2 Habs games ago from Subban lol.
Lucic is 11 years old in that pic.

Not enough mention of PK Subban ITT

Anyone else recall the Jerry Dee bit for The Score that took place in the weight room? To get fired up for a lift contest Jerry had a bag of doritos and a pepsi, was worth a laugh, but more impressive was PK, that guy looked like a monster

Each team will access the strenghth of the players on their team and test their lifting capacity. Can't seem to find the link for the results from the Flames players, but it definitely exists.

Tuomo Ruutu used to be strong as a bull when he was younger. He isn't in that shape anymore because - at least he said so - too hard training played a big role in his injuries...

Roman Polak for St. Louis. He's a freaking bull.

He's definitely a big boy. Probably close to 230 on a 6'1 frame. But I think Polak is stronger.

Love the thread. I gotta say Martin Lapointe gets my vote, he benchpressed 225lbs over 30x. NFL linemen can't even do that.

Quite jacked is an understatement. Brind'amour was an absolute unit and a fitness freak.

Despite the kind of bodies other guyshave, I'm not sure guys like Lucic and Brind'Amour can be serious answers over Chara.

Unless we're talking strength compared to size, Chara is absolutely the strongest guy. He is strong for his size and he's completely massive. Maybe you could counter him with a guy whose only purpose was strength, like Ivanans or something. But Chara's one of main strengths... is his strength. That's one of his best tools in playing defense. So it's hard to say that a guy who's nearly a foot shorter than him and fifty or sixty pounts lighter is outright stronger.

TJ Oshie is a tank. It seems like everyone who tries to hit him winds up falling on their butt.

Good to see Reaves getting some love. My favorite player on the blues.

Guy is a tank. Absolute beast.

player deadlift number

Thought this would help. I am a powerlifter myself, so these numbers aren't jaw-dropping. Surprised a thick bodied Raffi Torres can only dead lift 365lbs. Click on the player to see their weight room, track, and ice training numbers.

Chara is probably the strongest overall for guys who are actually great players. Crosby would probably easily win his weight class at squats yes.
