My first child's name will be Jeff Carter...even if it's a girl.

Regarding Carter I think the pressure is off. It's a lot easier to play without a city on your back all the time. Here he can do what he wants, take shots from wherever he wants to without complaints about shot selection and score some ****ing goals.

3 minors so far over the past 2 games.

Time to insert the next lucky LW.

People complain about Jack Edwards calling Bruins games, but he doesn't hold a candle to Hayward with the blatant homerism.
Still tolerable compared to the Phoenix guys who literally did not stop crying all game.

"That's a five minute major!"
"It should be 5 on 3!"
"You call that a penalty!"

Shut up you stupid fools

Yeah, they're bad too. Maybe we've been spoiled with Bob & Jim who, when the Kings are playing bad, they call them out. When it's a penalty, they call it a penalty. When it's the other team playing a solid game, they give them credit.

I wouldn't do that unless you want her to score a whole helluva lot. Might be a problem come high school...

First 5 minutes is crucial, stay out of the box and play our game.

Ahhh, yes Tyson Nash. I've said my piece on him in another GDT. He's a whole bunch of idiot.

I'd say more like ten steps behind an idiot...yet just two ahead of Hayward...

Bad timing on my part, not blaming Ellerby for the goal, that was a massive team breakdown. I really like our acquisition of him and hope there is a future for him as soon as next year with Mitchell out and I would imagine 1 of Scuds or Regehr not being brought back.

I am just hoping his IQ gets better. With Sutter and co I think he has the minds to help teach him, I just hope he adapts, as I said still young with great tools.

Part of me is kind of impressed that people like Tyson Nash and Brian Hayward have survived this long into adulthood. You would think natural selection would have intervened by now...

Just saw the 2nd period highlights, and noticed Beleskey trying to egg Nolan on in a scrum. Is that really smart of Beleskey?

That, and also I think he's playing with a chip on his shoulder still.

Fourth line can't even score on an empty net.

Is it just me, or has everyone else noticed how much Doughty has stepped up offensively playing alongside Regher the last couple of games?
