I don't know. To go far in the playoff, we need to be seeded 1 or 2.

I think that could be a blessing in disguise. Emelin hasn't been great lately so maybe Markov with a new partner will work better. We'll see though.

I love Jagr for what he is doing in Boston.
If Jagr tries to undermine the "more excuses" atmosphere in Boston again he'll be on waivers before you know it!

Edit: if there aren't waivers after the TDL make it perma-scratched.

Just a little something for Krejci to ponder:

http://www.playerspoll.ca/results/20...s-the-best-ice

Funny how he doesn't blame bad ice at the TD Garden. LOL

contradicted Krejci saying that if the ice was bad, then it was bad for both teams, no excuses. Pretty awesome.

Nice win but facing the Rangers in the 1st round would make me nervous

Umm, they're the team that we've been best against. I don't think that acquiring 2 players is going to completely change our dominance over them.

Yeah that's the last time we'll hear him pull that... Jagr will get the talk tonight: "...that's not how we roll in Boston".

Yup, pretty annoying to hear him say this too. If it was the other way around we'd never hear the end of how dirty it was. Also, not surprising that we didn't hear him say anything about that brutal dive by Chara.

As for Eller, he deserved the penalty but it would've been nice to see Chara get one too, he deserved it.

I guess to defend Krejci, it's a lot easier to blame the ice than it is to admit that your teammates were making crappy passes.

In 2 of those 3 games we did not face Lundqvist.

In the first 2 games, Nash was out. Staal missed the last game.

So I wouldn't read TOO much into the season series.

I think the NYR will overtake Ottawa for 6th though.

It will. Maybe a little bit. I can tell you it wouldnt be as easy as how we beat them this year. Take Ryder and Halpern off the team and you'll notice the difference w/o them right away.

Clowe and Brassard are what the Rangers have been missing. They bring that extra grit/energy. It can be contagious. They're Tort's type of players.

Come playoff time, they'll be scary to play against.
