I think you have to sit McQuaid. Other than game 5 he hasn't looked well and is only averaging 15:28 TOI. Ference was averaging 22:15 TOI before getting hurt.

If Krug plays...McQuaid has to stay.

Chemistry is everything this playoffs

The aren't going to break up the Left-Right balance, except for Seidenberg who is effective at playing both sides.

That could actually be interesting... if they do split up Chara and Seidenberg (I doubt they will) then one of Ference or Boychuk would have to play with Chara based on history. The a pairing of Seidenberg and the one not with Chara, leaving Krug/McQuaid perhaps.

Chara-Ference/Boychuk
Seidenberg-Ference/Boychuk
Krug-McQuaid

?

Any word on Krecji ?
In the photoshop thread, in the playoff forum, there is a pic of
Krecji and his leg is bent in a way it should not be bent, and it
had not been shopped.

Hopefully he is okay.

Ference sits Seriously. Unless the D plays like crap in the 1st game, don't change a thing from the Rags series.

happened during Game 5 or 4... he finished the game, think it was just awkward fall, haven't heard anything regarding DK being hurt.

I don't know-I think Ference comes back into the line up and most likely for Bart. Krug IMO is contributing in ways that until he fails keeps him dressed.

Ference is going to be trusted more for the PK than Bart or Krug (don't remember if they have used Krug on the PK).

I think the real question is if Julien keeps Seids with Chara or splits them.

I can kind of see Bart and Seids looking good together-not sure how often he and Ference have been paired.

So I guess it depends on how reay Ference is and how things are going.

Yup. I can see that. Ference brings experience, more nasty, and playing his 1st team. Bart brings more mobility, youth, size and less brain farts so far.

so is everyone but Ferrence 100% now with the week off??

Where we at health wise??

Seids looked like a wreck in Game 5 vs Rangers, is he back up to health? We need this guy.

I think Redden is still day to day but my guess is even if he is ready Krug keeps that spot unless he gets badly exposed by the Pens and Julien opts to go with the veteran.

Boston D Andrew Ference, who played in Game 1 after a lengthy absence, just made his way through Consol Energy Center wearing a walking boot

He is at practice today - someone mentioned he had the boot on before and after game one as well. Gotta love hockey players!

Andy Ference is a tough dude for his size.

Love that he is playing.

He definitely did. Amazing what a little extra padding can do, aside from the fact that he's Andy Ference.

Agreed but the way Krug and Bart have played + Hamilton you got to think Chia will let him walk
