Don't like The Blues having the extra man and dumping the puck into the offensive zone giving up possession. Bad mistake. They had the game locked up with the puck in the offensive zone, and The Wings without a goalie.
But, all's well that ends well. The Blues win a VERY VALUABLE 2 points in regulation vs. Detroit. And. just as important, Elliott gets a road shutout in Detroit, sending his confidence sky high.
Even with this, I'd still play Allen as #1 and Elliott as backup, if I were coach.
So those 6 points in 3 games completely undid a player "not scoring" and put them on a .8 point per game pace? Interesting math there. You want me to stop because you are wrong and are tired of being exposed as such

Elliott won us this one, way too passive in the 3rd...but again, tough to play against them if they play their 1st line about 13 mins and their 2nd line the rest of the last period. this was a lucky win but they wouldn`t scare me in the playoffs, not enough depth, team lives and dies by 40 and 13
Only caught the last 7 minutes of the game but it looked like we were on our heels the majority of it. Elliott looks like he's rounding back into form which is good to see. How was our play in the first two periods?
