It upsets me more that Ottawa lost to Florida while making them look like a defensive beast. Then they go on to get blown out multiple times by other teams.

The Rangers, Islanders and Jets are really not doing Ottawa any favours when it comes to scoreboard watching....seems like for the last week or so all those teams do is win.

Three goals in 1:14 when you're fighting for your playoff lives. That's got to be pretty deflating.

maybe this beating will make the rags complacent for next game and they'll lay an egg.

6-0 now. At this point I hope the Rags break 10 goals, that would be fun to see.

Giants up 7-3 over the Bills. Eli Manning threw a TD to Cruz.

Well... Good news is Buffalo responded with 3 goals of their own. Bad news is Rangers scored 4 in that process

Gotta win our own games! Can't rely on other teams.

But at the same time, it would be nice to get a little breather and some help from the other teams.

Means we gotta keep on winning!!!

Depending on the night, Ells is either the best or worst goaltender in the game.

it's all in his head, as many sens posters were saying when he was done here. If he can get his head together, he's as skilled as any goalie in the league. If he's not together, he's terrible.

A win against the Leafs would do wonders for our confidence...

I said yesterday Buffalo was done and now it is official. Good night sweet Sabres. Now go away Jets or Washington! Would appreciate having a nice week of not having to look at the out of town score board.

Important game this afternoon. If Winnipeg beats the Isles then neither the Sens nor the Leafs can clinch a playoff spot in our game. If the Isles win they go ahead of the Sens and tie the Leafs until our game is payed.

Whatever happens it seems that the Sens have to keep on winning not to lose pace in the race to the playoffs because all the teams behind us just keep on winning.

This time someone has to lose. Just hope it isn't a 3 pointer.

I want to beat the Leafs so bad, but I want to finish 6th.

Ah well, facing Montreal in round 1 would be OK too.

Boston can't beat Pittsburgh this year it seems

Islanders 1-0 against the Peg: what would be the ideal scenario for us? I'm guessing Islanders winning in regulation since Winnipeg is lower than us if simply making the playoffs is the main concern (stupid five game losing streak)

Islanders and Jets going up and down the ice. Islanders go up 3-1 but the Jets come right back down and score to make it 3-2. Bad defensive play lead to both Jets goals, that's still the Islanders achiles heal.

I agree. Jets losing helps us more. Rangers have an easy schedule and the Islanders are red hot (don't have a hard schedule either). I just want to get in and not finish 8th. Jets losing best helps us in that regard.

Jets - Isles are tied up at 3. Why can't these Jets just stop?!

Magic number is what 5 now? Ottawa win and Jets loss would make the final day of my exams a very relaxing one.

The Jets will not catch us.

I am hoping the Jets win against the Islanders, but really anything but a tie will do. The worst case scenario is having 3 points going out in that game, and everyone hanging on longer than they have to.

Tangradi just blocked 3 or 4 shots in one shift, that was awesome.
