That was the longest story ever. I thought something incredible was going to happen.

Basically Minnesota had a bunch of gear flown in from Minnesota to Columbus for Pominville's family. Pomminville's family drove down before the game from Buffao to surprise Jason. That's literally all....

You're right, what this board really needs is MORE negativity.

Save your time, do not read!

Just because you do not find this story interesting or neat doesn't mean others won't. No need to crap over the story just because you don't like it.

Very fun read imo Pominville us a class act, and it was great to see the Wild go to that length to surprise him like that. I am sure other organizations would or have done the same thing, but it is neat none the less.

Even through the television, you could hear his family yelling after his goal announcement.

Sorry. NHL teams will try to create more Disney stories from now on.

You forgot one thing. They filled the bowling balls with a funnel.

4 p.m. - Ryan and Carly walk to Nationwide Arena with WildTV's Dusty Peterson. Carly carries the gift basket, while Dusty is mistaken for a certain Wild player and asked to autograph photos by Columbus hockey fans on the sidewalk.
That was pretty funny

I'm sure that would really cut the Pominville family pretty deep.

Honestly though, he seems like a pretty down-to-Earth guy who loves his family. What does that have to do with how much money he makes?

I thought it was a cool story, even if awfully long in the telling. They definitely pulled a lot of strings to make it happen. It's always nice to see people doing nice things for other people, especially when extra effort is required.

I think it's a good thing, they didn't have to do anything, but wanted to...How can people actually be talking down about something like this?

Are players supposed to be robots? they make millions of dollars, so play hockey for us, and have no feelings about anything else?

Way nicer than the story of Chelios surprising Richter in Nagano.

Very nice, and just when I'm trying to maintain a certain level of hate for Minnesota.

Very cool story.

4:36 p.m. - During a break in the team's pre-game routine, Ryan tells Jason he has a visitor. They walk down the hall to see his family, and Jason canít stop grinning.

Was hoping they would have a picture here
