Vancouver has Alex Burrows and Chris Tanev, someone has to be able to beat that.

The Habs have Desharnais, Gorges (signed by SJ however), Bouillon, Diaz and Bourque (signed by Chicago). Definitely a good haul even if you remove Gorges and Bourque.

Flames have Giordano, Glencross and Cervenka. Take off Glenx if you don't count players that they didn't originally sign undrafted.

This thread makes me sad when I remember our best one that slipped away, Martin St. Louis. Damn you Craig Buttoooooon~

Benoit, Da Costa, Dziurzynki, Wacey Hamilton and Conacher for Ottawa. Not bad, but nothing outstanding... YET.

Scrivens and Bozak for the Leafs. Not bad but far from great.

And? The OP never mentioned signing them directly from undrafted UFA status.

Not to mention Conacher they just signed recently, and turned that (+ a 4th) into Bishop.

Turning an undrafted UFA into one of the better goalie prospects in the league 3 months after the undrafted players NHL debut is really good value.

They were undrafted, if you don't count that time they got drafted.

Brunner, Dekeyser, and Lashoff for Detroit, of which the former two will be integral parts of the team moving forward.

Not the best but still good.

I'd say Hiller/Fasth have been pretty important to the ducks.

Garrison wasn't drafted either but I guess Van didn't sign him originally.

If we're going by original teams and not teams they found success with, I think Anaheim wins with Hiller, Fasth, McDonald, Kunitz, Glencross, Penner, and (Ryan) Carter.
