People from ottawa finally have something to be proud of/not bored with in that city. Let them have it.

I'd laugh so much if they ended up missing the playoffs. It's far from being impossible, and at this point, their fans have gotten so cocky that it would be absolutely hilarious to see the way their board blows up.

I'd love it if one of them or toronto were to miss. Ideally both, but that won't happen.

The way I see it:

Masterton: Markov win (60% sure)
Calder: Gallagher nominated (80% sure)
Jack Adam: Therien nominated (80% sure)
Norris: Subban nominated (100% sure)

If PK does win the Norris, I can't wait for the tidal wave of excuses and asterisk appointers who will try with all their might to close their eyes and plug their ears to avoid admitting Subban is elite. They'll be trolling themselves. I love it.

P.K. Subban is the best, most well-rounded defenseman in the game today?

Therrien to win the Jack Adams?

http://www.nhl.com/ice/news.htm?id=6...d=nhl:topheads

Taking a team that missed the playoffs last year and was predicted to grind for a playoffs spot to the current one who's fighting for the lead in the Eastern Conference.

Surely, there are plenty of games left, but he has to be considered as frontrunner?

Depends how the remaining dozen (well, less) games shape up for Ott and us. If we continue on our success and Ott trails off, I think he'll get it.

It all depends on how MacLean does in the stretch run. I consider him the front runner at the moment, due to the insane amount of injuries. However the Sens haven't been great lately.

as long as they win the division...they're not a bad team, injuries got them last year. He has done an exceptional job, however, and deserves at least a nomination. I guess, for me, blackhawks and sens are right there. Depends on how all three teams finish, I suppose.

I can't wait for the pathetic "he'd never do it in a full season" thread from the bruins board

Historically the Adams goes to the better team overall, not the team that survived the most injuries or the team that "had the biggest turnaround". Wouldn't be surprised if Quenneville gets it.

I think Anderson is the main reason Ottawa are still in the race, not because of some coaching prowess. Sure, he's dealt with the injuries well, but with an average goaltender they'd be rock bottom.

I still think what Therrien did with this team is far greater considering he's working with pretty much the same players from last year.

Eh, they still don't. Ottawa (The city) is pretty terrible.

I think Boudreau and Anaheim is the only real challenge to Therrien, but I might be wrong

Anderson has played in 16 of the 38 games this season as he was injured at one point too. If you want to say his whole goaltending group, then I would agree. Anderson, Bishop and Lehner have all been tremendous for the Sens this season.

not really...

galchenyuk, has played well and stayed up at 18.

gallagher, blew all minds, and played way above any level anybody ever expected for him. he's been incredible.

gionta is back

healthy bourque was back

MARKOV was back, which is massive

Prust, an absolute beast for us, one of our most important players.

lots of change, and lots of things just going the habs way.

I thought anderson as well, was the difference; although, when he went down they continued to win, and their rookies have been HUGE for the sens. very impressed, very disciplined team, and are losing despite being the better team most nights.

these last 10 games matter, if the habs win the division, it'll be hard to take away Therrien's accomplishment. He could still win without the division, but that solidifies it for me.

This was one of the last lineups of the season

Pacioretty - Desharnais - Cole
Bourque - Plekanec - Leblanc
Geoffrion - Eller - Blunden
Palushaj -Dumont - Staubitz

Gorges - Subban
Markov - Emelin
Campoli - St-Denis
