Marchand-Kelly-Seguin
Paille-Peverley-Horton
Caron-Campbell-Thornton
I sub Caron with Daughoweveryouspellit, but I like these.

Caron is soft and I don't want him.

It seemed to make a lot of sense that that line could be used in offensive situations. Down a goal? Load up that line for a few shifts, see if they can produce. Momentum swinging and need an offensive push? Put that line together. Why hasn't that happened? EVER? They had one period together, worked magic, and it was never to be seen again. Not even for a few shifts when it was so clear the Bruins needed offense.

Agree.

Loooch-Krejci-Seguin and Looch-Kelly-Seguin are two lines that worked really well.

Lucic and Seguin should be on the same line. Be it with Krejci, Bergy, Kelly, Spooner, Campbell or anyone as their center. They just complement themselves with their skill set.

Given his play this year and that he's clearly not living up to Cloooode's expectations, I wouldn't be surprised to see him bought out with an Amnesty buy-out this summer to get some cap flexibility. You'd hope there would be a bit of a market for him, but teams might just wait it out to see if he shakes loose for free.

After coming off the loss to the hated Habs the B's come out angry and motivated and play a full 40 minute game. B's lose 3-2
I think a full 40 minute game is optimistic. I think the B's come out strong tonight playing a full 20 minute game after going down 2-0 in the 1st and 2nd. B's lose 3-1.

Give Segs some big wingers, see what he can do with Lucic and Horton. Not putting Krejci and Jagr together at this point is just Julien trolling HFBoards.
would love to see that too. When Jagr was acquired and Bergeron went down, I thought it would have made a lot of sense to do just that. Put Krejci and Jagr together, I bet they can produce no matter who is on LW (even Pandolfo). Then put Seguin between Lucic and Horton. That to me clearly defines Seguin's role as offensive and he doesn't have to worry so much about "replacing Bergeron".

I hate Julien's quote about Seguin having "big shoes to fill".

Caron-Kelly-Peverley is also a line that worked well together in it's short time before injuries separated them. Wouldn't mind seeing them get a shot again too.

Lucic-Seguin-Horton
Marchand-Krejci-Jagr
Caron-Kelly-Peverley
Paille-Campbell-Thornton

If I'm trying to get in Julien's head, there's a few simple switches that can be done if Seguin doesn't work out at C. Move Kelly/Peverley up, Seguin back to wing on the 3rd line.

SIMPLE. LOGICAL.

I diagnose a lack of Pandolfo. Clode's not amused. Never say no to Pando!

Actually, I'd like to see some more Daugavins.

Unless Claude makes some last-minute changes, I think these lines will be what we see tonight. Although, Daugavins got some PK practice in yesterday so I wonder if he might get into the lineup. If Daugavins is in, I wonder if Thornton sits?

I guess it's probably more likely that Daugavins would be in the lineup if Kelly couldn't go. We shall see.

"Obviously, if that's the way lines are tonight, Tyler is a gifted offensive player; it'll be nice to play with him," said Kelly, on possibly centering Seguin. "I've played with him before and we've got some chemistry and work well together."

Here's the projected lineup:

Lucic-Krejci-Horton

Marchand-Campbell-Jagr

Paille-Kelly-Seguin

Caron-Peverley-Thornton

Chara-Hamilton

Bartkowski-Seidenberg

Ference-Boychuk

Wow, I can't believe they would move Seguin to the third line instead of Horton. And put Campbell on the 2nd, and slot Peverley down to the 4th. Are those just speculation, or have the lines been confirmed??

Paille-Kelly-Seguin may easily end up with more ice time than the Jagr/Soupy combo.

DogOfVans I believe is the proper spelling.

I'd like to see him in over Caron as well just because of the shiny new toy factor.

Meh ... he's been marginally better than Pando ... not sure he's a huge upgrade over Caron.

Woah, check this out. Daug actually tries the goofy shootout in practice with a little twist, and it sounds like the teammates like it (you might be able to hear Krejci moaning in the background )

Julien, change up the Krejci line, Lucic and Horton are the same player, they need speed on that line.

Play Krejci with Jagr, we will see this after the Bruins fail to score in 1st period, and they will have some chemistry, mark my words.

Jagr playing with Campbell, give me a break, no wonder this team is only scoring 1 goal a game, you can't mix talent with plugs, you have to put all your talent on one line.

Chicago, Saad-Toews-Hossa.
Penguins Iginla-Malkin-Kunitz
T.B. Pouliot-Stamkos-St. Louis

I don't blame Iginla for not coming here, I wouldn't want to play for a stubborn defensive coach ether, It is like Jagr going to T.B. and playing with Nate Thompson and Tom Pyatt on the 3rd line.

Give your head a shake Claude, this team needs offense because 1 goal a game isn't going to cut it.
