So what was up with that boarding/cross checking? I was expecting a call. He even went on the ground. If that **** happened to Crosby there'd be a 5 min

I think Martin took it easy on Schenn. I think he knew Schenn was out of his element there.

Only 3 syllables, yet a trauma-worthy amount of regret.

well, they certainly can't use the "our goalie is a poor team mate" excuse for the 1st two periods ....

They haven't done enough tonight. They've had a lot of puck control and a decent amount of time in the Isles zone, but they haven't forced Nabakov to make anything but regulation saves. Then, they basically stop for the final 5 and start giving up great chances to the Isles. It looks like the players think that the season ended after that 2nd period in Winnipeg.

I don't think it was worthy of a 5 but it definitely should have been a 2 minute penalty on it.

I'm glad Bob is doing good with CBJ. He deserves it. If Snyder wasn't in so much of a hurry and just stuck with him who knows. But this teams problems are deeper than just their goalie.

It's 2 mins and if there's an injury, ie blood, it's an automatic 5

There was blood

True that. All the refs would have rushed over

yes, either the real Flyers team needs to come out and play, or perhaps this is the "real" flyers team..

I can't remember one tough save Nabokov had to make.

Mason hasn't been that bad in the first two periods. He's allowed two goals, sure, and one was awful...but he's also had two breakaway stops and two deflection stops, a rarity for this team. Two of those 4 big saves were really great, to boot.

That's a dumb rule. It should be a judgment call by the ref.

Why does everyone in Philly blame the goalie. Terrible turn overs and break always all over.

Yeh, he's 21. We haven't really seen much of anything from him on a consistent basis though. He'll be a good player, but not what we thought.
