Giroux lacks that acceleration he displayed last year. I still think he has something wrong with him. Either lower back or a hernia. There is something stopping him from getting going.

it's the goalie's fault.

I always wonder if it's awkward when a guy gets called up or picked up and placed on a new team

Lauridsen was joking with another guy in the lockerroom, I'd be too terrified of them calling me a rookie to talk with them

An automatic 5 minute penalty if blood on a boarding call is dumb. I know it would have went the Flyers way this time if called correctly but it's still dumb IMO. It doesn't take much for a guy to bleed half of the time. While it was a boarding call it wasn't bad enough to warrant a 5 minute major regardless if The Big Dane got hurt on it.

Oh please.

This has been a pretty good goaltending performance, when you consider the team. When you consider the team, Bryz's performances were STILL bad. The guy earned every bit of blame, and almost nobody blames him for the team's problems, but he was/is a huge problem all on his own. He made a gross situation even worse.

The C weighs more than the A?

Could also be an aerodynamic issue.

Mason has been pretty good IMO for 1st game. Harts has been ****ing horrid. Second goal he skates right by Grabner and skates into corner leaving him wide open. Just been brutal, yet Couts gets 4th line mins behind Feds and Knuble. Good ol Lavy and his vets.

Can I have an unbiased opinion on Mason tonight? I haven't seen any of the game. Soft goals? **** defense? Turkey bacon?

I posted in the beginning of the season about it.

The reason Giroux hasn't been super duper is because he cut his flow.

Just getting here as well. Read the thread. :|

Saw a replay of a breakaway save. I'm not being sarcastic when I say that it actually felt like my brain couldn't process a goaltender in a Flyer's uniform making that save... and then with the glove on the wrong hand?!?! Chaosssss

No true softies, the first goal was savable, but challenging. The second goal was a really nice shot. He's been good handling pucks, and made some big stops. He's been good.

I'd say 1.5 soft goals. Could be called 2, but I'm not shocked the 2nd went in. THe first was bad.

He has 2 breakaway saves. One of them was really good. He also had a couple deflection saves. One of those was really good as well; he read it and reacted. If not for him this could be 4-1.

He's been solid. The 1st goal was soft. The second one he could have had but I wouldn't necessarily call it soft. I think he's done enough to get another look next game.

Islanders are hitting everyone high because it's basically legal in this game.

1st was so so. Husking Ot undressed and Gervais over played Boyes. GOT puck to Molson who fired a quick shot. 2nd team was running around, Harts ****ed p and Grabner fired a perfect shot.

Stopped a beauty break away and looks good handling puck.
